And just when I thought I knew everything about the components of an induction motor, I still managed to learn something new from this video. Well done!
I rely on these daily. I use them in a range of sizes from 1hp up to 200hp. Most common size use at our facility is 10hp - 25hp. I've replaced several of them over years. They are extremely durable and very heavy. It is my experience that any motor of this type over 10hp rating requires the use of a lifting mechanism. We use them in a 3 phase 440v ac configuration usually drawing 20 or so amps. Some however draw 100+ amps.
Did you know that those keys (woodruff key) are also designed to break if for some reason the motor or whatever the motor is turning locks up to prevent damage to the one that didn’t lock up. Pretty much acts like a break point to prevent a major problem occurs
Sure, it's air cooling but the fins also radiate infra-red photons that travel away from the motor and this could work in a vacuum but air does help in scrubbing the heat away from the unit. When the heat leaves the unit via IR you don't care if its air, the wall 10 feet away or infinity that is absorbing the energy, it just doesn't matter; how ever the "air" can heat up so you want to move it away from the motor, hence the fan.
Great video information ❤, please make a video information for DATA HOW TO REWIND A INDUCTION MOTOR. NUMBER OF TURNS, AND SIZE OF WIRE and other stuff ❤
It's a great video, thanks. But one question, doesn't the fan actually suck air and spit it out through its cover, in the opposite way that you describe?
from what I've seen working on motors like this they usually move air through centrifugal forces, the air get pushed outward and hits the fan cover which then guides the air over the motor.
Good morning sir I had come to know and build the theory of SCIG( squirrel cage induction generator) Plz correct me if I am wrong and I would be "gladfull" full if u make corrections in this When we connect the SCIG with 3 ph supply to stator and the rotor is coupled to a prime mover The mg field is being produced in the stator and induced in rotor and now the rotor has its mg field the rotor is rotated above the synchronous speed i.e -ve slip Now the stator will be starting to provide supply to the grid And through the process of induction the mg filed is countinue to produce in rotor By the help of stator which it's providing supply to grid Since mg field is producing in stator and induced in rotor And the direction of mg field is reverse and the rotir directoin is reversed when compared to motor ( SCIM)
Good morning, I have a VFD in which three phase induction motor is attached to and I have a capacitor bank to correct power factor lag. I want to know if it's a good idea to implement both power factor correction and a VFD? Thanks for your good work.
Hello sir. Thank you for your great videos. I am helping a carpenter with his machines. His machines start at very high current as you say. For example an old bandsaw. Motor 13.5 HP, 34.6/20 A, 10 kW. I think it's a slip ring motor. The issue is that I've been trying to help them install DIY Hydro Electricity, which has been very difficult for me with limited knowledge. So I need the two large carpentry machines to demand less at start up. What is the simplest/cheapest way to reduce the starting current? Thank you very much

I realize it's kind of off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream new movies online?
All educational videos should have this level of thought and effort put into it.
The attention to detail even on the roughness of the painted surface of the motor cage is just superb! 👌
Thank you very much!

Great to hear!
What new you learnt ?...Please tell

I love the presentation and layout. This is my go to channel for learning machines from now on.
gusto ko sarili kung power source pambahay lang po residential, thanks to God be safe always wd ur Family
Quality content stamp of approval. Thank you!
Much appreciated!
Thank you sir.. Your explanation is super it is used for future generations🎉... Thank you very much for your support for technical students👩🎓
This video was suggested to me after looking at really big electric motors.

Thank you very much for such a details video.. please advise what part cause vibration in motor ..

Awesome! Thanks
Fabulous! 👏🏻
It is a great video, it makes lot of information much clear. Thanks a lot to all who share in doing this video
Great explanation

very good
I enjoyed
Always be on top and successful
Thank you welcome back
Thanks!
Awesome video, thanks
Very clearly
great video Jon!
Thanks Adam!

Have you been using the Y-∆ (star-delta) starter/s ?
What software is this?
We use Blender and Solidworks. You can access it all through a web-browser though at saVRee.com.

paano nito mapapagana ang AC generator
Can you make a video about an industrial robot and its parts, like kuka, for example? Thank you!
Would be a good video. I think kuka is actually just down the road from where saVRee is (Munich).
@@savree-3d it would be awesome! Thank you!
nice one❤️
Thanks 🔥
My scooter company states it has AC- IPM motor, does this mean it has IPMSM motor?
❤️
sir please make video playlists free
No
The explaination isnt satisfactory and felt incomplete
Yes, he did not even explain the most important parts aboutt hw windings of the statie and the squirrel cage itself.
