New projects are in the works at the moment, including some new hardware comparisons, a couple other backlogged games I want to review/compare, and a new documentary that I'm currently capturing footage for. Stay tuned!

This is easily the best comparison! Good job! Although that’s not the crash of the Infinity, the Infinity is WAY bigger than that.
Honestly wouldn't it fill half of the map?

Tbh its a big fuxxing downgrade..
@@TheRmaster86 you're high bro, the textures and lighting are leaps and bounds ahead of the demo
@@TheRmaster86 No, it's clearly a massive upgrade in every way. I agree with the other guy that the green, plastic design was cool, but saying the game was a downgrade is just downright false.
@@TheRmaster86 i think that’s false on many levels
Infinite had a really satisfying gameplay and story was ok. But the enemies make the game really shine for me. Grunts are some of the funniest NPC's I've come across. All in all it was a good game.

Probably the best halo since 3 and reach
damn imagine being so easily impressed. i bet you have sex in less than 10 seconds
All I need for Halo Infinite is co op.
And eventually more Campaign DLC.
@@ReachTea There are other teams working on Campaign DLC´s, and its likely Certain Affinity helping with a Battle Royale mode and a Campaign DLC.
Or what´s the point for Halo Infinite to thrive if it hasn't a thriving campaign either..
They should consider like a invasion game mode like Elden Ring but don't limit the playable area.
whats campaign dlc? will i get new costumes and emotes with it?
rumours say that they cancelled the idea of infinite being a 10 year live service game and will only have support for half that time, certain affinity developed last spartan standing and my guess is that that was the battle royale, i love halo but things are looking grim
@@IMFERMO. last spartan standing was not the leaked game mode and I don’t think the even developed last spartan standing 343 did
4:23 The demo has always had a rushed look to it, but what’s strange is that we can still see the layout of the added scratches in the 2020 demo. It’s almost like the weapon model itself wasn’t fully finished when they had to throw out this demo. In any case, the final game definitely is more visually appealing than the demo and I’m glad the game was delayed. However, I still don’t understand how the game still isn’t content complete yet even with the delay (coop, forge, infection, firefight, etc.) Just makes me wonder how the game would have been had it been released in 2020. Would season 2 have taken two years to be released?
I think the delay marked a shift in priorities for the studio, mainly that they seem to be trying their best to avoid crunching. As anyone who's ever worked on a project can probably attest to, crunching is quite an efficient way of getting a lot done in a shorter space of time. However it's also unethical and completely unsustainable for a live service game. I expect, if they'd released in 2020, the plan would have been to continue cracking the whip to get these things released as soon as was physically possible. Whereas now the focus seems to be on finding a sustainable rhythm for this stuff and not to push their team too hard. It sucks for now but in the long run I think it's the better decision.
@@SW-8228 I agree. As I said, for a live service game, it's neither sustainable nor ethical to crunch like that. One of the people who worked on Halo 5's post launch support was saying on Twitter that they went through developers extremely quickly forcing monthly content updates. Crunch is meant to be few weeks of hard work followed by a hefty bonus and a long break, but for a live service game it's followed by being straight back into the next content update. Just completely impractical.
@@SW-8228 I always see people constantly defending developers because of crunch, don't forget these developers get paid A LOT of money for this, a whole lot than more than I do for killing my body every day through manual work. Every job can be extremely testing on the body and mind I don't understand this defence.
They were prototyping a Halo shooter for about 2 years approximately by my timeline, then built the Slipspace engine from scratch, which likely took 2-3 years to do. From then, they likely had mere months to make the game work, then when they got the extra year they probably went all in on making the game look and feel good.
@@coolminecrafthdminecraft1627 I saw some people complaining that the hero shooter prototype was a waste of time, but I feel like that’s were a lot of the equipment came from.
I really liked Halo Infinite's campaign. I had played Halo 4 a few months beforehand, and I can tell 343 has learned a lot about how to make a Halo game feel like a Halo game. While there are some issues I had with the campaign, like the lack of environments, I enjoyed it quite a lot overall.
The gameplay has improved so much. Halo 4 was so repetitive, endless Knights and light rifle spam and very linear corridor levels
Also enemy variety is amazing now, sucked in 4
@@xRolyJoel I agree, I thought it was way better than Halo 4
It's the most underwhelming content lacking piece of garbage since Halo 5. 343 has learned nothing lmao
@@Quakecon-s9r sure buddy
Surely disappointed with many things cut along with missing features like co-op during game launches.
Either way, really great job for 343 with actually improving the visuals. Texture and many other details looks more sharper. The gunplay is very fun.
All thats left is to deliver more content in more consistent manner and bring back Co-op and Forge.
@@MichaelBrown-rg8oi As far as forging goes, Halo 3's forge is the weakest and most bare bones. Which is fine, because it was essentially a proof of concept. But Halo 5's forge was utterly astounding, and based on certain leaks, Infinite's forge seems to function almost like a gamer maker's tool kit at a higher level, allowing for basic scripting.
@@MichaelBrown-rg8oi What? Halo 3 had easily the worst Forge in the series because of how primitive it is.
Halo 5’s Forge tho? Count me in.

@@HaileyEira Well to be fair this area is a ship graveyard, it makes sense to have a muddy and gritty area, stuff crashed and burned there, it's upposed to be a no man's land.
Though there are a lot of other areas in the final game that look like the 2020 demo regarding color and vegetation, when it is coherent with the setting. A lot of them basically look like the second level from Halo:CE.

@@AJMarraffa no it doesn’t look like halo. Even the retail version is to cartoony and colorful for a halo game
I hope the story goes back to feeling the way it did now that Joe is back, I’m confident he’ll be able to do it as long as they don’t require him to write stories they want
As long as 343 don’t butt in with their Chief/Cortana fan fiction, and Microsoft backs off from telling Joe what to do we might get things back on track. There needs to be less of a focus on Chief and more on the ring as well as linking up with the rest of the UNSC. We need more marine banter during cutscenes and over comms during the campaign to make us feel less like a lone Spartan and more of a cog in the machine. 343 has always struggled with that aspect. You’ll only here named characters over comms and when there is a unnamed marine character they are written super generic with no personality. We need a more Aliens/Starship Troopers feel to Halo again.
Who's Joe?
He isn't a writer for 343.

Halo needed just one more year to be worked on to have been a completed game straight out the box for forge, multiplayer, game mode customizations, theater, and much more better armor progression system like on Halo 3/Reach. Overall though it needed more time to be finished content wise but story was good and gameplay is very fluid.
problem is, some of the problems we have wouldn’t have been seen until release anyways
@@joelcomer Well the mismanagement of 343 and COVID made it worse and having several contractors working on the game and not being in the loop on the completion of it as well.
@TougeRuzbay that’s true too
I think if we had gotten every thing a year forward, it wouldve been been better.
You are doing great work
10:21
Actually, the paint on the armor in the retail build does have a subtle, but effective, difference --- there is a layer of hexagonal patterning that gives it a carbon fiber kind of look.
I absolutely love Halo Infinite, and to be honest I am glad they took an extra year to polish it
343 bot
How? They're missing so much fucking content. 343 is not doing halo any justice at all.
it's still fucking awful dude.
I actually like the game. I haven't messed around with online multi-player, but the campaign is really enjoyable imo.
Great comparison Nick! While Infinite may not be the best Halo ever, 343 sure did put a lot of effort into fixing up the campaign. It looks great now, the sound design is solid, and the enemies are very engaging. Definitely the highlight of the game for me; with their varied speech patterns and ability to react so differently to the players actions every fight. I can't wait till co op drops so I can drive my friends off cliff after cliff.
It wasn't fix up it was finsh the demo wast a finsh state lol
@@robertcastanpn288 speak English please.
It probably is one of the best Halos, the level design was fenomenal.
I appreciate all the work put into this video! I already loved halo infinite campaign but damn does this make me appreciate it even more..343 did a wonderful job on this game! I'm glad to see that multiplayer is starting to develop nicely and they are also reacting to our feedback promptly since this new season.
Haters will always have something to complain about, but I'm excited about the future of this game! We can't ignore how amazing the core gameplay feels. this is HALO at it's best since Reach imo.
The cutscene at 00:55 looks a lot better in the old build in my opinion. The light penetrates correctly the character's skin, and the eyes don't look "dead". The lighting also makes it look better in the old one. And finally, the facial animations are locked to 30 fps in the final build, which makes it look even worse. The only change I would have made in this cutscene is bump up the shadow resolution and it would look amazing.
L opinion
Yeah, I have to agree.
While the improvements to everything else are great, the lighting of the cutscene was just off.
A bit disappointed that they changed they way Set a Fire in Your Heart sounds for the retail build but I guess it was to change the tone of the monologue to be a bit less compelling than it already is and a bit more intimidating
The Three Prophets of the Brutes:
Tartarus (Chieften of the Brutes)
Atriox (Leader of the Banished)
Craig (just happy to be there)
that shot while going up the elevator has the best improvement in my opinion. The mountains and environment as a whole look amazing in the retail version
Personally, I prefer the way the E3 demo looks (not graphical, obviously). I don't know what it is but something about the retail version bothers me.
I kinda like the softness of the textures too. It looks fake as can be, but the plastic AR reminded me of the old CE days.
The pop-in however was reeeeally bad
@@Nick930 Yeah, I'm glad they fixed the graphical issues but the plastic design was so nice. Also, (I know this might be an unpopular opinion) I wish they kept the bullet traces and the H5 hitmarkers.
I always thought, even since the demo, that this game had a strangely "citric" coloring. It also seems to have too little reflection bloom, comparing to the games before Halo 5.
@icedmacchiato Yeah, that's it. But the bloom actually looks super low in Infinite. In Halo 3, even lower lighting would cause a glow effect in the Spartans, and in Halo 4 they would basically glow with direct sunlight. In halo infinite that's not the case.
crazy the lighting in the demo looks far better in alot of that cut scene, improved micro details in the texture work though for sure
The visual turn-around was pretty incredible, even if it still doesn't run particularly well. Hopefully optimization becomes a priority.
It is? Its pretty standard from early build to final product. Nothing here were things that weren't going to be in the game before. And none of the things they added had any business being in a early build we saw. The devs should have been applauded for not faking anything like other devs do. BUt instead our dumbass community punished them. Adding pre-polish, polish to demo's is WHY games get "downgraded". When you make a demo look pretty, so its looks more appealing to customers, its never going to be realistic for a final game.
It does run pretty well though
@@fesoy1174 Yes I just have the Xbox series s and it runs perfect and never crashed
@@fesoy1174 Yeah not on PC

the E3 Demo had more dramatic death animations to the enemies and more satisfying and present Blood effects especially when Chief is shooting Grunts, it was something that the series always had since CE and is totally absent in Infinite unfortunely. the hitmarkers were re-used from Halo 5 and I thought it would be great if they kept that instead but I was certainly happy with new ones which is also very satisfying in the final game.
343 just loves their T rating. Even H5 had good amount of blood, idk why infinite’s is so dull and only noticeable on metal surfaces
Fantastic work nick, you're my go to along with Digital Foundry for tech and graphic breakdowns. Really love this stuff.
I’m overall very happy with the improvements to the retail version, though I wish they’d kept the blood-spray from the demo version. It seems to only activate at long ranges in retail, for whatever reason. Grunts are supposed to erupt in a spray of blood when you shoot them!
@Alex Luca they still could've kept it with the T rating, it was probably to save on performance
@Alex Luca Ah, the most bullshit reason
one thing im noticing that im surprised you didnt mention, is the severe drop in blood fx.. particularly when shooting the grunts in the demo, there was a really nice and satisfying blue blood mist that would spray out with each hit, but that is almost entirely absent in the final game
I looked at it at one point. Specifically when I was focusing on shooting the elite with the AR. But it looked as though the blood was still there, but was harder to see because of the lighting.
@Turututu 2 if you go to a corpse, you can spray alot of blood. It's kind of hiding in plain sight though.
@@Nick930 Do you think the blood splatter is less visible due to a more realistic blood simulation being used? The blood in infinite seems to blend in with what ever surface it splashes into, especially dirt.
They did improve the graphics quite a bit, and thanks for that. Some places are really gorgeous, but the world is lacking variation and biomes. I still like Halo 3’s graphics better overall.
The E3 trailers have better lighting in my opinions. Looks more cinematic.
I agree, it has more dramatic feel to it. Also I think overhauling the textures and dirt too much makes it look more unrealistic.
11:28 am I the only one who is impressed at how perfectly the footage lines up here
I love the art style of this game...if. It came out with the full content suite of Halo...and more biomes...it would be a masterpiece
For the detail sake,in the pelican down section that are not the Infinity just a wreckage of an unknown UNSC Mulsanne-Class Frigate with the same marking as the UNSC Mortal Reverie(located on outpost tremonius),probably just a model to filled up the environment.
Tbh,I really liked the campaign. The gameplay was near perfect, the world was fun to explore, the dialogue was excellent and the sound design very good. The graphics tho are definitely the biggest improvement.
Halo: Infinite Rocks and Grass
Agree on the gameplay. The combat loop is the best it's ever been in Halo. From the ways that enemies react to gunfire, the animations, even little things like Jackals raising their shields...and then slightly rotating them to switch it up, I absolutely LOVE the gameplay in Infinite. It's amazing.
@@8BitLifts the animations and how enemies react are by far the best in infinite. End of discussion
Really really nice comparison!
As for the crashed ship (yes i'm picky), I don't think it's the Infinity, which would be much larger. This might be a smaller frigate. I wish to see the crashed infinity in the future. I don't know if the ship could even make it onto the ring tho, seeing how dreadnoughts were smashing it pretty hard
Anyway! Great video!
Thats what i was thinking, the infinity was enormous
@@thedude9999 yes something like 3000 meters long
The eyes looked much better in the E3 build
I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone else mention this. The retail version looks like he's wearing color contacts.
Fr shadows as well they are almost invisible while on the E3 they are much more noticeble@@VermilDBK
yes...the close up of the retail eyes look like animal eyes. E3 eyes looked like human eyes.
Missed chance to say "I like that boulder, that is a niiiice boulder" when introducing the boulder upgrades
Awesome video, thumbs up my man! Soooo much extra detail you missed (sorry im a nerd). The muzzle flash is much more like an explosion rather than a light and emiting light like you said , Cheifs gloves (gauntlets) are much more detailed, the grunts armor has detail on the chest piece (small blue circular details can be seen). The complete retexturing of the infinity, the upgraded visual fidelity of the vehicles especially the warthog, massive terrain design, etc.
My main complaint with the retail version is the excessive volumetric lighting at the start, and the lack of epic music in the final cutscene. When I first saw that cutscene i was desperately waiting for the beat to drop but It didn't happen...
11:00 the bullet trails effect is also completely gone now at least up close, which makes some guns feel less satisfying to shoot. I noticed that since the flights. I think you can still see the trail from far away though, just a bit
Yeah, I wish they atleast make this a feature which you can turn on/off along with the H5 Hitmarkers.
@@mynamedoesntfi--6161 Same. Gunplay feels worse in Infinite even compared to H4 and H5, it's not just the bullet trails too but also the new hitmarkers and shield effects on enemies, it makes the feel of the guns worse overall. Maybe hitmakers are a more subjective thing but I really prefered the ones from Halo 5, they looked a lot cooler and were more satisfying to see. I guess it's a bit more simple in Infinite now
@@Glitch5970 I'm going to disagree that gunplay is worse than Halo 4/5 but the Hitmarkers, Traces and Shield effects looked cool and now they don't anymore. Infinite still has some of the best gunplay in any Halo game but adding those in as features would be great.
@@mynamedoesntfi--6161 I hear you, but there is nothing Infinite does to make the gunplay feel better than in H4 and H5, so Idk why it would be the best for you. It removes stuff like we agree on. Plus all the FP animations now are all shaky and super fast, cod like pretty much, nothing like the previous games in terms of FP animations too. So I'm confident in saying objectively Infinite's gunplay is worse than previous games, you can say it's better in some ways compared to older titles because of graphics alone but that's about it, but I mean, I think we can both agree at least Infinite's gunplay is still fine and better than a lot of other games today, it's just that some older Halo did it better. Funny cause that applies to everything with Infinite LOL
@@Glitch5970 Halo Infinite has great gunplay because of the Weapon Animations, Sound and feel. I hate how they got rid of Traces and Hitmarkers but that doesn't make the gunplay worse than Halo 5. Also, mix it with the Sandbox items like the grappling hook and you have a recipe for great gunplay. Also, your final sentence, about how every aspect of Halo Infinite was done better in a previous Halo, can be applied to every Halo (atleast in my opinion). Halo 2 has a good campaign but Halo Reach has a better campaign. Halo Infinite has good gunplay but Halo Reach has better gunplay. Halo 5 has good multiplayer but Reach has better multiplayer. Halo 4 has great characters but Reach has better characters. Halo 3 has great Forge but Halo Reach has better Forge etc.
Amazing job on editing this video, you had to work hard and long time on this one.
Great comparison video. You did a good job matching retail gameplay with the demo. Halo Infinite was an impressive entry to the series. Graphics were improved to a satisfying degree. The boss fights were a great addition, and Escharum was a memorable antagonist.
Escharum is so underrated
Grappling hook was the perfect addition to Master Chief that made the gameplay feel fresh
It's kinda repetitive with the biomes and things like that but the gameplay and art direction are just awesome, I hope in the DLC or next game they do some big scale battles like The Covenant from Halo 3
I need a big-scale battle in a snow biome like Assault on the Control Room/Two Betrayals asap. Or maybe the end of the campaign and the new BTB map is hinting at a desert location, which I would be more than happy with.
@@tylergandee5318 my guess is the campaign dlcs will mirror halo CE's campaign, next will be a desert with covenant vessels, then a beach, then snowy w/ ancient forerunner structures then a swamp, etc
Absolutely interesting, had a good time watching it, have a nice 😊✨
This game is in my opinion astonishingly gorgeus. Playing through the campaign felt like those perfect dreams you have sometimes.
Really impressed that unlike most game showcases the retail version sports improved quality. Too often the showcase is pre-rendered and the final product doesn't live up to what is on display. I do understand though that main problem people had with the showcase was that the fidelity was below what they were expecting, not over selling what they can actually deliver.
This just made me want to either replay the whole game or at least want a new campaign DLC addition ASAP. So much better than I think most were expecting it to be.
Byyy dkc maps
As much as I like the battle hardened look, I kinda liked the E3 one more since it reminds me of the colorful CE style, and makes Chief “pop” more
You know, i always thought the facial animations in Infinite looked weird, but this video helped me realize WHY.
Its because the facial rigging was designed around the lower detail faces and increased shadows from the E3 build. Look how Fernandos eyes and teeth seem to pop out of his head in the final build, while it looks much better in the E3 build.
That year's delay was certainly needed, and I am glad it was used well, at least as far as graphical improvements and optimisations went.
Halo Infinite was one of my favorite games of 2021. Most fun I've had in the Halo-verse since Reach.
Given the constant position of the rifle youd think in the future they wouldve developed an automatic reload method going up his arm into the rifle, it wouldnt even be difficult, one could construct it easily today.
better textures are easy to implement. the lighting in the e3 demo was far better imo, and that's what ultimately makes for a better and more realistic looking game
The Pilots name is Brohammer btw, dont try to convince me otherwise
no
8:32 Nice to see that over 600 years after its invention the Gerry Can is still in use
Yes
The game basically got remastered before release, & shows how dedicated the team was to improving the final product. This perhaps explains why they didn't have as much time to add content like forge and co-op. Hopefully we wont have to wait much longer for those.
Great analysis, you do good work.
Great comparison! The extra year really did wonders for the game. Additional future DLC with more biomes and even deeper story will only build upon this. But... that isn't the Infinity that has crashed, right?
It's not, the infinity holds 10 ships that size in cargo alone
@@ABZZDEV yeah, I thought that would seem more reasonable 🙂.
this is arguably the best E3 showcase ever, because it didn't oversell anything, it presents what player wants to see (the gameplay), and they just make it better in the retail version without changing much from the E3 demo
Honestly it just shows the amount of care this game went through. I know 343 has a bed rep for all the issues the games had but this shows the effort and commitment they have to the feedback and series
343 Brought up that Ray tracing for Halo infinite was a high priority and when the time comes when they add it, Cutscenes will look even better
If it stays a priority and they do it at some point (This game really needs Ray Traced Global Illumination and Shadows), my guess is AMD FSR 2.0 could be coming at the same time, allowing to maintain 60 FPS with RT on Xbox. That would be very, very cool.
Long gone are the days of demonstration games being so much better, visually, than the retail version. I’m all here for it.
The game got delayed a whole year...
I hope the Ray tracing they've been working on makes the pelican crash scene look more like the e3 version
2:50 That seems like you turning down ambient occlusion compared to whatever the demo had, motion blur would also play a role here
Retail looks amazing honestly! Great video
This is a really interesting video concept! Well done!
15:39 The way the grunt levitates in the background!
I'm surprised you didn't talk about the Sidekick pistol having a different model with the under barrel attachment.
just to clarify, the infinity isn't in halo infinite. the vessel next to the pelican you get out of is probably just a cruiser, since its way to small to be infinity.
I was hoping you’d cover the discover hope trailer here as well
Is it me or is the E3 cinematic at the beginning more realistic and better lit than the final version? I get we can see all the pores and whatnot in the final but when it comes to realism subtlety is the key. Just my opinion but the E3 cinematic looks more showy and more cinematic in the sense of it was made to look good for the show vs the final build has all these details, yes but the definition of the lighting and overall cinematic look is lost due to optimization for the various builds. Like the bloom effect that's lost from the E3 version, clearly that's a big giveaway to my point of view. Just a thought.
So happy you did a video on this
I really enjoyed the campaign, i judt wishes it had more landscapes like Halo 3 with sand and snow areas plus more epic set pieces i.e. massive scarrabs to fight or long tank battles
maybe a hot take but i preferred the shade of blue of the plasma from the banished weapons from the demo more then what they went with for retail
For the initial scene with MC and Echo-216, the 2020 demo looks better IMO. The lighting works better from the side instead of from the front, which makes everything look flat. And his eyes look like doll eyes! Pretty disturbing. Even though the 2020 demo has less detail, for this part it's more pleasing to look at I think.
i think(but i am not sure) that the e3 was captured on an xbox, or with lower quality visuals compared to the final release with the highest setings you show to compare with. but still great video :)
Very detailed comparison thank you !
I didn't noticed the plastic look of the rifle on the E3 version, I guess I don't mind it, a lot of firearms are made out of polymers anyway these days, your trusty glock 17 is not made of 100% stainless steel !
I feel like it's rare to see such big improvements to the retail builds these days. Good to see
The E3 version was aweful. Improvements doesn't mean much in this instance.
They delayed the game a whole year to do that...
@@runner9528 I mean it was an unfinished game. They showed us a realistic depiction of what the game was like at the time instead of doing what most companies do where they touch up the gameplay to be something that it cannot be on release, like the classic examples of Watchdogs and Colonial Marines. To me this shows a degree of honesty from the developers which is quite rare in modern AAA gaming.
@@musicimpact7120 Visuals aren't everything in game development. There may have been major bugs or game mechanic overhauls. Maybe something even bigger like a full engine rework. Behind the scenes there could be a number of reasons that the game needed to be delayed that would have no visual difference.

Looks good, I’ll play it when co op gets added. I’ve always played halo split screen with my younger brother, so I’ve been waiting for what feels like years.

After all we don't wanna miss any details when watching this
Much needed video!
fantastic video, i love when games come out looking better than their reveal, it's refreshing after a period of drastic downgrades in games.
the launch version of the opening cutscene seems to lacking any form of ambient occlusion on the character's face

Finally someone is uploading
That crashed ship is not the Infinity, just a small frigate. The Infinity is the biggest unsc ship ever made, it would dwarf that frigate
by about 700 times.
As harsh as my criticism is for this game, god damn did 343 make it beautiful as hell.
For real. The difference between the demo and final game is night and day and I’m glad they went through this retexture work.
Yes they did
Yet nobody did a correct direct comparison of RDR gameplay trailer vs Retail i hope you do it 😉 , you da best on this
Rdr? Like the 2009 game?
I think cause this was a demo they were going to show the ar on his back no matter what. while in gameplay for players it was unknown what weapons players would have when getting to this point of the game. so they didn't add a weapon to retail cause it likely you wouldn't start off in this area with an ar considering last mission had many other weapons the player would be using for the boss fight before.
Final release does look much better for the most part which I didn't think was the case until now, though I think the opening cutscene's lighting and colour grading is far better than release.
Nice video.
Could you make a comparison between the PC and Series X versions?
That would be much appreciated!
One of the few times where you don't go in looking for the downgrades
Um. No. It's just one of the few times the retail version is a genuine improvement.
hmm.. it genuinely looks like the game improved from its E3 presentation... that is actually pretty rare that the gameplay shown at a conference is worse than the eventual retail release.
its usually the other way around. i hate to poke fun a cyberpunk but there is no better example.
This is one of the few times I see a game that looks better than E3
I easly prefer the e3 look.
@@TheRmaster86 really ? What do you prefer in it?
@@Nate_M_PCMR i more like the colours.. its not that intense in the e3 version.
@@TheRmaster86 good point
@@Nate_M_PCMR it isnt more bad, it's just a different taste.
Personally, I prefer the lighting design of the cutscenes in the E3 version. For instance, during the cockpit scene in 0:31, the E3 version has natural light passing through the window and casting onto the characters. Whereas, the lighting in retail version seems artificial. Another example of this is in 3:14, where E3 uses backlighting technique to make it look cinematic whereas retail version seems to incorporate too much broad light with no backlight at all.
Totally. It's undeniable! And brohammer skin and eyes look just sh*it. Totally soul less, looks like ping pong balls. Cannot tell how Nick could state the opposite
What was a really big shame is that I thought the game would look like the E3 trailer that came out back in 2018, it just looks a lot more alive the the lighting looks a lot more not what it is now
2018 reveal looked next gen, and what Infinite really is, is an old gen game using old gen technology.
Honestly one of the best campaigns story wise. I wish the story was linear as I feel this game would be comparable to the original trilogy but it was still great
Well to be fair, the story is linear, you can play mission after mission like a traditional campaign without caring about other stuff if you want to, that's what i did the first time i played it.
