- This is the new M5Stick C Plus 2, a pocket-friendly ESP32 device. I spent a few days with this device and created a test sketch to assess all functionalities. This device packs a lot, including a built-in display, 200mAh battery, RTC, IMU, buzzer, IR LED, regular LED, three push buttons, and more.

Best I can do now is World Class BBQ that you won't find at Memphis in May. Lovin this cold weather cus my grill is sssssmokin, best time to Q it up.

I loved the M5StickCPlus, and picked up a couple of the new version a few weeks back. I was previously having some problems with memory management, so I'm looking forward to having some more flash and PSRAM available.

Bro these companies do a terrible job telling you what these things do. When flipper zero came out all they're videos were about controlling TV 📺, controlling gates, controlling lcd screens at macdonald's it was pure epicness.
They do a fine job, this is a completely different product for a more technical audience than the flipper zero.
The flipper zero is a complete product ready to use, hence the price, but can be expanded upon if you have development knowledge whereas this is a development kit, you either have to develop for it or use what others have developed and released. What it can do will depend on your knowledge and willingness to learn.
It is because they are hardware that run different firmwares. The firmware does the stuff the devices just have sensors.

Practical use cases are limited only my your imagination. The ESP is powerful.
This project looks amazing! I'm trying (but failing) to make my own project. I have just got one and tried to connect it to a LoRa E5 device through the Grove port. Any idea on how to set the grove port as a UART serial output? In fact, I can't seem to find much support for this device, any chance for a point in the right direction pretty please :D (I should say that I'm using the Arduino IDE).
@@jonty1857 hello , thank you. I am still learning how to use LoRA. I never used grove as serial port, but it can be done please google virtual serial port on esp32. Also i think chat gpt can help

Great video. I've tried to compile your project but I keep getting errors. Would you have the versions for each library you're using documented somewhere? I manually added IRemote and others as required but still getting a compilation error related to IrSender.. I want to mention you on my next video, that's the reason.

do you know the old "Magic Eye" for Frquency and Stereo "Display" in Tube Amps/Receivers? I think You could make a nice green Eye! the Dimentions are close. to replace a tube. - Sorry to Original Preventers. better then no green Lights! LoL

I think there is a bug in your "MyExample" demo code.
I assume that the accerlerometer dot is like a bubble level, and it works correctly for the x direction (left/right when viewing the screen in portrait orientation with the USB C port facing down). However, it appears to be reversed for the Y axis. This can be seen in the video -- the dot moves "downhill" when tilted to make the dot move along the long direction of the screen.
I believe I was able to fix this by changing the line:
yy=map(y,-800,800,102,146);
To this:
yy=map(-y,-800,800,102,146);
Do you think this could be used as a portable speaker for a toddler? How would the battery life hold up?
I dont think so, inside is just buzzer not speaker.
