It's amazing how much info you've got on the tiny screen and it looks great. Gonna flash it tomorrow and check it out. Love what you're doing for these devices!
I read this commen as the reveal happened. I like the mystery of "this smart dude showing me thingsʾ. I'd go clubbing with him, if I partied like that. Great vids. Better than other channels.
@@VolosProjects Memphis, but all the good ones where people dance & the women mingle are closed down or its a bunch of youngins with their phones out, not having fun. Best I can do now is World Class BBQ that you won't find at Memphis in May. Lovin this cold weather cus my grill is sssssmokin, best time to Q it up.
@@SlinkyD same story here in croatia, i go out very rare. But i think we had way more fun when i was their age. My nokia 3310 was in my pocket whole night 😀
I loved the M5StickCPlus, and picked up a couple of the new version a few weeks back. I was previously having some problems with memory management, so I'm looking forward to having some more flash and PSRAM available. As always, great video! Thanks for showing off the capabilities of these tiny devices and making your code available to other tinkerers!
Open question to anyone (and Volos of course). My M5Stick C Plus 2 works great. Moved code to M5Capsule. M5Capsule reads I2C only while pressing "Wake" button. IO42. Not sure why. Using the Port A for I2C, IO 13, 15.
I wonder if you could choose one of these boards with oled screen and build a mini TV like a video player. Would be nice to see a video tutorial about that.
This project looks amazing! I'm trying (but failing) to make my own project. I have just got one and tried to connect it to a LoRa E5 device through the Grove port. Any idea on how to set the grove port as a UART serial output? In fact, I can't seem to find much support for this device, any chance for a point in the right direction pretty please :D (I should say that I'm using the Arduino IDE).
@@jonty1857 hello , thank you. I am still learning how to use LoRA. I never used grove as serial port, but it can be done please google virtual serial port on esp32. Also i think chat gpt can help
Mozes i tako, al baterija ce proc za dva sata, a i memorija je mala, mozda je bolji klasicni m5stack koji ima vecu bateriju i utor za memorijsku karticu.
Great video. I've tried to compile your project but I keep getting errors. Would you have the versions for each library you're using documented somewhere? I manually added IRemote and others as required but still getting a compilation error related to IrSender.. I want to mention you on my next video, that's the reason.
do you know the old "Magic Eye" for Frquency and Stereo "Display" in Tube Amps/Receivers? I think You could make a nice green Eye! the Dimentions are close. to replace a tube. - Sorry to Original Preventers. better then no green Lights! LoL 😎
*HEY* ...there was no _Subscribe_ button where you pointed. 😉 Maybe you put one right on your next "Volo GUI DEVICE" _... not that I need them you fascinate me for a long time already_ 👍👍👍
Bro these companies do a terrible job telling you what these things do. When flipper zero came out all they're videos were about controlling TV 📺, controlling gates, controlling lcd screens at macdonald's it was pure epicness.
They do a fine job, this is a completely different product for a more technical audience than the flipper zero. The flipper zero is a complete product ready to use, hence the price, but can be expanded upon if you have development knowledge whereas this is a development kit, you either have to develop for it or use what others have developed and released. What it can do will depend on your knowledge and willingness to learn.
That’s bc you gotta do more research into it. That’s like asking “what does a computer do?” A whole lot of shit. Not being a smart ass but he does go through a couple scenarios at the beginning.
Love your videos! I think there is a bug in your "MyExample" demo code. I assume that the accerlerometer dot is like a bubble level, and it works correctly for the x direction (left/right when viewing the screen in portrait orientation with the USB C port facing down). However, it appears to be reversed for the Y axis. This can be seen in the video -- the dot moves "downhill" when tilted to make the dot move along the long direction of the screen. I believe I was able to fix this by changing the line: yy=map(y,-800,800,102,146); To this: yy=map(-y,-800,800,102,146);

Thank you, yes it was chalenging, but it looks great on tiny screen.
This is my first video seeing a face reveal. Good to place a face with the person. Always love watching your videos

nice setup bro! very cool board, love your informative content
Tnx:)
Very cool! I think flappy bird is a good game for this type of dev board.
Gosto muito dos seus videos. Recebi ontem meu Cardputer e estou esperando chegar o Stick C Plus 2. Saudações do Brasil.

All the M5 unit hat are not working good on StickC Plus 2, I'd like to use the old one
they are working , you just need to edit pins used. old and new dont have same gpio on that connector
Great Project! Looks like you deserve a coffee - enjoy
Thank you my friend :)
Stop making me spend money! haha love your videos :)
I really like M5Stack after a short time. I intend to buy a pile more.
Can we get a follow-up tutorial on that example
Love your vids. Shipping to the US is so high, I gotta buy extra stuff to make it reasonable for that one thing I want. One day tho....
How would i go abt getting this interface ❤ look how the home screen look
Can you make a video about to add a wiif attena to it

Are you able to help with put a code that was written for original stick to the plus 2 stick?
I saw it had a joystick. Does it also have a wheel? For entering text och menu commands.
These look cool but what are some practical use cases?
Practical use cases are limited only my your imagination. The ESP is powerful.
Thank you!
Thx, what for Bluetooth solution?
Amazing, maybe somebody is interest bigger brother M5 Cardputer (like M5Stick C Plus2 but with keyboard) too :-)

Do you think this could be used as a portable speaker for a toddler? How would the battery life hold up?
I dont think so, inside is just buzzer not speaker.

It is because they are hardware that run different firmwares. The firmware does the stuff the devices just have sensors.

😂Yeah so many Instagram people acting like they are controlling traffic lights with flipper zero😂.
