I know this video is a few years old, but what a gorgeous, majestic little creature! Snow Leopards are endangered now, so it's a rare treat to see a cub. It's such an encouraging sign the Snow Leopards can successfully breed in captivity. I hope Kitai is doing well now! 😍💖

Snow Leopard's (panthera uncia) are despite the name, more related to the tiger (panthera Tigris) than their relatives in name in Africa (panthera pardus) Cleps (neofelis nebulosa) are somewhere from a later branch in the evolutionary tree, but I'm not sure about their genetic relationship to the family of big cats..
I'm pretty sure the comments will come but I'm really surprised I haven't seen any idiot comment saying why are you picking him up from the back of the neck like that you don't need to pick him up like that the mother picks him up like that all the time but humans cant do this guys it's okay.
Where is her Mother? She’s too young to be alone! Put them back together if you have the Mom and she’s healthy too. Stressing the kitten out is never a good thing!

Its a cub bud... Every cub has a different personality, and just cuz they hiss a bit and dont want to get picked up doesnt mean anything. Kittens will even hiss at their mom sometimes when the mom tries to pick them up.. Its normal
