I really like that you switched your media player, as it was taking up a lot of space on the bottom of the screen, I was actually gonna comment that and suggest a different kind. I'd like to hear you, do you only do affliction for high level keys or do you see merit in the other specs? I'm new to warlock, so I've been trying them all on both lower/higher keys and generally I don't like affliction as much as either destruction or demonology. It's like affliction punishes you more for messing up your rotation, but of course this could be something I could improve on just with practice. But which, if any, do you think is comparable to affliction and why? Another small note I'd love to see, if you could use one of the addons that display your latest spell+the last couple. It's wonderful for videos like this, because it can sometimes be a bit hard to see in which order you use your stuff. Thanks for the nice content.
Thank you for the nice comments :) and yeah getting a new video player makes things look much better. A comment on one of my previous videos recommended VLC and it has been a game changer. All 3 specs are good in m+! I am just partial to affliction because it is my favorite spec and I'm the most comfortable on it compared to the other specs. Affliction does feel pretty punishing if you mess up, and it has high highs and low lows when it comes to damage on packs. Demo and destro feel like they have more consistent windows of dps. Plus, they have access to "instant" burst damage that affliction sorely lacks. For example, dungeons that have a lot of non-elite mobs feel pretty bad for aff because by the time you fully set up your dots, the non-elite mobs are mostly dead. Destro and demo can get damage on those types of mobs faster. Grim Batol is a bit similar in the first hallway after you fly on the dragons. Most if not all of the mobs there only have 10-30% hp, and as aff you don't really get to do damage before they are killed, so I always play Destro for GB. You can play any spec you want, I think they all perform very well at the moment. I actually installed one last night, I've been trying to get a GCD tracker addon for a few days, but the WA's I was trying to use were so awkward. My next video onwards will have one. I'm happy to hear that it is helpful! For nameplates, I'm not really using any specific WAs or anything. I think LittleWigs (bigwigs for dungons) puts a cooldown next to enemy nameplates for special casts, but that is it. I really like default UI stuff. I think that if I got used to a good UI I would play better, since I honestly have trouble targeting the correct mob to kick occasionally, but I've never really used things like plater
hey great video, for me and i guess most other people watching it would be nice if you had an addon which shows what spells you pressed. that gives us a better showing what youre actually doing, its hard to keep track of it when you just instant spells for example still a great informative video!

Hey! I’m roughly the same IO as you and I recently got spymasters. I usually pop it at 20-30 stacks if there’s a good pull, but do you recommend waiting till 40 stacks & using it with dark glare only?
I think you have the right mentality about using it. Often times I'll just sit at 40 stacks for a pack or two if I know there is a boss or priority pack coming up. But if you have CDs and a decent amount of stacks and there is not a priority pack/boss coming up, I think it is totally fine to send at 20-30. As long as you know you can get back to a decent amount of stacks before you need them

How do you effectively maintain shards without DS? I am a Shadowbolt enjoyer myself but I find myself not being able to keep up with soul shards without drain soul.
It can be tough sometimes. With soul harvester we always get 3 with Soul Rot, swapping UA to an add before it dies so you can get a soul shard that way is helpful sometimes, and making sure you have a high agony uptime so that you generate more passively. Outside of that you can try to hold soul shards as a pull is ending so you have enough to set up for the next pack. Going to 0 means you wont be able to seed of corruption/vile taint the next pack for a bit

You'r cds desync with the orc racial because of the affix, it gives 30% cdr to spells when you kill it (and i assume it doesn't affect racials), it's kinda awkward with trinkets aswell when they desync likewise
