Thank you soo much for this Allen! You always have such great descriptions on the scents I can almost smell it through the screen. Makes choosing fragrances sight unseen much easier.
Hi Allen! Gonna need these spa scents with the holidays coming 🤪 100% agree on Sea salt and Orchid by CS. For our wedding back in May, I made mini candles from repurposed oui yogurt glass jars. We ate sooooo much yogurt 😂 Sea salt and Orchid was the scent we both picked as our signature wedding scent. It had all the right notes that everyone loved. Fun fact: Learning how to make candles for our wedding guest favors was how I started my candle journey. After watching this I may just have to go back and give white sage and lavender a try. I’ve had it in my stash but never got around to it. Ideas for future videos. Winter best of Favorite woody scents Odd blends that just work/ your fragrance blend testing process. Thanks for the inspo! Keep shining like you do 🌟
Hi Marissa! Thank you so much as always for your kind and helpful comments and information. How neat that Sea Salt Orchid has such a special meaning for you. Love and light always 💛🌱
I could not agree more about 💎fig tree💎 it’s a season-less delight. Alone it’s amazing but it also adds so much interest to other scents - it turns cs’s apricot grove from nice to intriguing If anyone wants to try a spa blend that’s a bit more on the weird/good side, blend white sage and lavender with cs’s beach linen. It’s kinda niche, but I have people who can’t get enough 😆
I make Body Products and Fig Tree was one of my first fragrance and the amount of great feedback I got from it, made me put in it my "Spa Scent" offering. I've always sold out.
Funny how I was going through my fragrances when this video popped up. I have to agree with every single fragrance you've mention. I hate to fail a scent rather than it just not being my favorite. But I have to agree. Especially the Lavender Tea & Tonic from CS. It just smells... Wrong. I keep coming back to scent it and then I'm reminded why I haven't used it. I keep hoping it will grow on me but I hate it. Thankfully it was only a 1 oz. I'm just going to throw it out today. There's not even a fragrance I can think of to blend with this. Maybe lemon- something. Idk. My other top fail is Tuscan Herb from Pro Candle Supply. I don't know why I bought this 1 oz bottle, maybe a sale. But another strong hate from me.
Hi AJ! Thank you for your comment. Yep, that scent is just not for me!!! I agree that there is something about it that just does not work… cannot quite put a finger on what it is though!! Love and light 💛🌱
I made wax melts with Fig Tree. It’s so good. I didn’t like the original White Sage & Lavender. I’m not a fan of lavender at all. The scent literally makes me ill. However, the revised version isn’t so bad oob. I’ll test it in some wax melts. Lavender tea & tonic is terrible. Thanks for reminding not to purchase Day at the Spa. Lol. Maybe I’ll try it if they make it a clean scent.
Thanks for the Spa Scents recommendations and all the videos that you kindly share and help others with. Could you please share the blend of Fig Tree and Sandalwood that you mentioned in the video that you would put in the note section? I did not see it. Thanks.
I have a stupid question, what do you mean by parts? You said 9 parts Fig and one part sandalwood? I am watching all your videos and I am loving them. I’m late to the game. lol
Ok im actually looking for a specific fragrance. Maybe you can help me bc you know a lot. There is a candle science fragrance Black Sea which smells mediocre(imo) in the bottle but smells amazing once in the candle. My question is does anybody know of a better version of this scent from another supplier? I ask this bc I bought a candle online and it smelled like a superior version. But black sea is close second and smells sooo luxurious. fresh with a little spice and a little breeze. The superior version I talk about had a little more extra spicy kick. Regardless I recommend this scent!
I love how excited you are about fragrances!
Your passion on this video is EPIC! I'm ordering Fig tree IMMEDIATELY!
Thank you for your comment, Michael! I hope you enjoy this scent as much as I do. Love and light 💛🌱
Love this!!!
