I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate you for this video! When I took the seat off, I had parts fly everywhere and I had no idea how it was supposed to come back together. You saved me from having a potential meltdown. Thank you so much!!!
Man look, I don't mean any hard but I love you!!! I just got this bike a few days ago and my new seat just came in today. When I took it apart and all those bolts cane apart I almost died. 😢. Thank you for this easy to understand and see video. I don't need any fancy names either what you did was just fine. Lol at "pole holder". Lol Thank you so much!
OK, you basically save my life ha ha I am a single woman at 66 years old and I installed my own seat and it was pointing almost straight down and I couldn’t figure out. I worked on it for like an hour. Then I saw your video and spent every second looking at what you did and within five minutes. It was on my bike the right way! I love you. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to ride with my new seat my butt is gonna be happy about it too!😅😂❤
It seems complicated, but then all of a sudden everything comes together and makes sense. Great job explaining how to put it together! I will never understand why Peloton will make a great bike with such a HORRIBLE seat. My bike sat for almost a year before I got around to finding a decent seat. Talk about design flaws! Almost 2700 for the Peloton + and the fix was 29.00. Next time go the distance Peloton!
Thank you so much! I was lost and confused trying to install the same seat Your step by step instructions really helped! May you find money and get all green lights!
God bless you! I got a seat from Trublifit and it was supposed to slide on but the bracket or whatever it’s called was too small. I ended up using the original seat parts on the new seat. Your instructions were great and now I have the new seat in my bike. This was right in time because Trublifit’s offices are closed today and they have no phone number just chat or email. You likely saved me days of frustration! Best to you!
Your video was so straightforward and helpful! I had to upgrade my seat from the original peloton seat because it was so uncomfortable. I like that you included the sizing because it made it easier to go straight to which one I needed for the nut/bolt
You are a life savior. My wife was telling me what the he** was going with me. It was simply changing the seat. But a hero at the end because it is her bike.
First thank you for the video. My wife just purchased a new seat for her Peloton, so I watched your video before attempting to putting it on. I did not take all the hardware off of the old Peloton seat as you did in the video. I simply loosened the bolt bolts on the new seat and rotated the “pole holder”, as you call it, into the same orientation as the pole holder on the original Peloton seat I removed. Then I was able to just simply slip the new seat onto the pole and tighten the bolts. I hope that makes it a bit easier. It only took me about 1-2 minutes to complete the entire job.
You are absolutely right my friend. Your way is much easier and better, and saves a bunch of time. After all this time I still don't know why I went the long way.
Wow! You made this so easy! The trick was the wrenches for me. I had to actually order them, but they’ll really come in handy, so no worries. THANK YOU! My 65-year-old sit-bones thank you! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
This was just the instructions I needed! I bought the bikearoo from Amazon and their installation video didn't have anything for Peloton. This helped me get it on my bike+, thank you!!!
Thank you sooooo much! I was almost crying before I watched this video. I guess I really needed someone to tell me to take the guts off the Peloton seat and put them in the new one. Idc what the parts are called either, this saved my life! 🎉😂 You’re the best!
Thank you so much! I was having such a hard time (user error of course 😂). Took a break watched the video again , followed your instructions and now I’m good to go 🙌🏾.
Thank you so much. I was very lost. I think one thing that wasn’t clicking was the two outer ridge parts and the direction they should be facing. Again thank you.
Someone else said that on this same video. My kids and their suburban friends tell me that all the time and then I go into the "Today was a Good Day" rap.
Not sure why you are going to all that bother. There is a small stopper screw just under the front of the seat. Use an Allen key to take it out and then the whole seat will slide out. Then pop the new seat back on, put the topper screw back in and tighten and you are done.
Will this work with almost any replacement seat? Just swap the guts from the peloton over to the new one. Someone on Amazon suggested your video but it's not the seat you just did.
Thanks for posting....Peloton seemed to make this overly difficult, wondering if they want to keep people from swapping saddles??? On a real bike this process is wayyyyyy easier. I think although I'd prefer a different (flatter profile) saddle I'll leave the stock saddle on. Seems like a process to change that's not worth it unless you REALLY hate the stock saddle
Just curious. Why did you use the innards of new seat? I watched your video and just a new seat on my Peloton. This was teh one I just put on "Bikeroo Memory Foam Bike Seat - Comfort Bicycle Saddle for Men and Women - Compatible w/ Peloton, Stationary, Mountain, Road, & Exercise Bike Seat Cushiona"
I believe I could have just tightened the nuts on the sides to squeeze the adapter part, however, it was so much space from one "pole holder" or adapter to the other one. I didn't believe it would have fit nice and tight. I thought it just easier to change the inside parts.
Question when you unscrewed that first long bolt on the new seat and that piece in the middle just fell out when you did that lets suppose that piece didn’t fall out what would you do ???? I got a seat off amazon that’s supposed to be for the regular peloton my new seat looks exactly the same as yours…..i was able to take the long bolt out on the new seat BUT that middle piece that just fell out on yours doesnt come out on mine it seems like both sides of the piece are welded on to the bars that means i have the wrong seat right ?
So you can’t use the “inside parts” of a new seat? My Peleton seat tilts so I think something is wrong with that part. Trying to figure out how to fix it and thought a new seat might be the trick, however, think the inside part might be the problem. Any advice?
You can use the "inside parts" for the new seat, however, for me, the Peloton pole fit better. I felt that I would be tightening the nuts forever to get them to clasp the pole snugly. LOL. I used the Peloton parts for convenience. Just tighten both sides equally.
I know, I know. The pool sizes where slightly different with the seat I purchased, and I didn't just want to keep tightening the nuts on both sides of the seat to make it fit. You're like the 10th person who found a better way. LOL!
Ha! Yeah, this is only "my way" of doing it. The seat hole for the seat I purchased was way larger than the Peleton seat, so I switched everything. There is always a better way to do stuff.
What kind of seat is that?
Here is the seat. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X7Y6255/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thanks!
Literally only video you need to watch to change out the peloton seat. Hands down best one. Thank you!!
I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate you for this video! When I took the seat off, I had parts fly everywhere and I had no idea how it was supposed to come back together. You saved me from having a potential meltdown. Thank you so much!!!

LOL! Thank You! I was hoping that this would help some people out.

Thanks for the video, I got a new cushioned seat and could not understand the instructions. You helped me set it up, thanks!
Awesome video! Best video for replacing the peloton seat! Thanks so much

Wow! You made this so easy! The trick was the wrenches for me. I had to actually order them, but they’ll really come in handy, so no worries. THANK YOU! My 65-year-old sit-bones thank you! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I wanted to install a new seat while my husband was away. You helped me do that. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much! Was lost with how to go about this without this video!!
Thank you! When I received my new seat, I took out the bolts which was unnecessary. Your video helped me put my seat back together.
This is the ONLY helpful video for replacing the Peloton bike seat! THANK YOU!!!
This was just the instructions I needed! I bought the bikearoo from Amazon and their installation video didn't have anything for Peloton. This helped me get it on my bike+, thank you!!!
Samsies lol
Thanks a lot. I didn't know to switch over the original hardware and I wasn't able to get it together using the new seat hardware. Happy New Year.
Thank you sooooo much! I was almost crying before I watched this video. I guess I really needed someone to tell me to take the guts off the Peloton seat and put them in the new one. Idc what the parts are called either, this saved my life! 🎉😂 You’re the best!
Thank you for this video. Glad I came across it before starting
Thank you! I was lost before I found your video! Appreciate it

Oh my gosh, thank you SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!! Had a new seat and was completely lost!
Thank you so much! I was having such a hard time (user error of course 😂). Took a break watched the video again , followed your instructions and now I’m good to go 🙌🏾.

Thank you so much for this video!! Seat officially changed!
Thank you so much. I was very lost. I think one thing that wasn’t clicking was the two outer ridge parts and the direction they should be facing. Again thank you.
Your a lifesaver. Lol was so confused and about to give up. Thank you

Thanks Jack, your welcome! I woke up early one morning and did this. I still had gunk in my eyes and didn't get a chance to comb my hair.
Who knew? 😄 Your other video helped too, about the pedals. I appreciate your help!

You are absolutely right my friend. Some one else pointed this out.🙂
Perfect, thanks. Also, your voice sounds just like Ice Cube lol
My daughters tell me that all the time. Then I go into my "Today was a Good Day" verse.
Thank so much for this! 😊
You're so welcome!
Good job 👏 thank you!!!
Will this work with almost any replacement seat? Just swap the guts from the peloton over to the new one. Someone on Amazon suggested your video but it's not the seat you just did.
Now that I'm not sure of. I think some of the pole diameters are different so it might take a little trial and error.
Couldn’t have swapped seats on my Peloton without this video. Thank you so much!
No problem!
Appreciate the help. Subbed.
Thank you so much! I just changed the seat. I was going to return my bike idk why they don’t come with a more comfortable seat
Glad I could help!
This was a life saver! Very helpful
Why do you need to take the bolts out of the new seat and swap them with the bolts from the old seat?

I had to get rid of that damned Peloton seat, it's supposed to be making me fitter not make me walk like an X-rated pornstar who's just finished work!
IKR! You might need one of those donut pillows after riding with the hard seat.
Helpful thanks
Thank you so much!!!
Those inner parts were no where near as loose on my replacement seat. I just put that pole holder in upside down like you said and now it’s stuck 😑

All you have to do is tap the middle with the wrench or a hammer until it drops out. Or pry it with a screwdriver.
Thank you!
thanks!
So you can’t use the “inside parts” of a new seat? My Peleton seat tilts so I think something is wrong with that part. Trying to figure out how to fix it and thought a new seat might be the trick, however, think the inside part might be the problem. Any advice?

What size is the wrench? There are so many different sizes at Home Depot
13mm
This was such a big help! I really appreciate you taking the time to do this video! Thanks a million times!
You're very welcome!
Where can I purchase that wrench
It's a standard wrench. You can get it at Home Depot/Lowes, or even Walmart/Target. Or your local hardware store.
Please come to Houston and change mine! I’m about to toss this seat out of the window 😩
LOL! Take the parts from the new and old seat to local bike shop and bring the seat back home and put it on the easy way.
Anyone having trouble taking off the seat? Whoever installed this made it so tight
Why so many steps? All I had to do was to unscrew two screws to attach a new seat.
I know, I know. The pool sizes where slightly different with the seat I purchased, and I didn't just want to keep tightening the nuts on both sides of the seat to make it fit. You're like the 10th person who found a better way. LOL!
Worst video. Took my whole seat apart when I didn’t need to. So mad.
Ha! Yeah, this is only "my way" of doing it. The seat hole for the seat I purchased was way larger than the Peleton seat, so I switched everything. There is always a better way to do stuff.
