BTW, “blue raspberry” 5 Hour Energy is not blue, but the bottle is. Did have an aftertaste much like the flavor of blue raspberry Jolly Rancher.
Maybe a natural blue raspberry drink could be made by adding raspberry juice to butterfly pea flower tea and then adjusting the ph. Also, a natural blue wine has been made.
Blue dyes are extremely available and easy to add into just about anything, you don’t need to start making crazy concoctions

i want everyone to know i searched this because i wanted to know
So... wait. You say blue Raspberry doesn't exist, but literally just a moment ago explained what we define as blue Raspberry IS. Benny and banana for the berry-like sweetness, and pineapple bringing in the tartness of your traditional Raspberry. Would the natural color be a bright orange? Sure, maybe, and it's only blue because of the dye purpose, but it IS a flavor mimicking an alternative of raspberry. and a damn good one too. I'd enjoy it regardless of color (and frankly since orange is my favorite color, might even make it more appetizing)
2nd, there's like, nothing supporting this notion, but I fully believe the reason in question would only make sense as to the fact that they just, didn't have a blue flavor otherwise, when we had all these other flavors and colors reflecting the rainbow. It was the only one that we didn't have, and you couldn't just have another orange when we had... well, orange for orange. It only makes sense.

pink lemonade does have a taste real pink lemonade is made with rose sugar making it redish/pinkish with a slighly rose floral taste to it. inida for example has been making rose sugar treats for many many years.
Not to mention a lot of pink lemonade also has strawberry or raspberry flavoring in it too. Not all of them of course, but all the ones my family regularly had growing up did.

I let him off on that because salmon berries have an orange stage and orange *is* the opposite of blue. Salmon berries are arguably a type of raspberry because the torus remains on the plant when picked, distinguishing it from a blackberry.
