Sending love and prayers for Ray and all of you. My son had a massive stroke in 2014. He was in his early 20's. What I can promise you Kelly, is you WILL have the strength you need to face this. Somehow that mama "bear" comes out and gives us extraordinary abilities to make it through each day. I'm happy to tell you that my son survived, and his personality came back 100%, which is what I prayed for. Physically he is still profoundly handicapped, but he did learn to walk again. It took us a year, but he got there in the end. He has a full time job now, is married and is a father. But I do know that overwhelming fear that you are experiencing, and I will be praying daily for you and your family!
Patti, thanks for your post. I had a stroke 6 months ago (age 50 though)and I am still not progressively healing very well and this brings me hope. I am happy that your son has healed for the most part and is living a happy life. Stroke damage lingers forever. Xo
Patti, Thank you for Kelly and family. But also for me. My son had a triple stroke September 3, and I feel lost and struggling with all my emotional rollercoaster every day. He is 40 and a father of 4. He is back living with me and I am still trying to find blessings in each day. I had one several years back. I lost my vision and it came back to me also. I'm praying for Kelly, her son Ray, and family. Thank you Patti for sharing your journey of recovery for your son. I needed to read that today also. Thank you for your inspiring insight.
@@caroljolly4764 It breaks my heart to hear about your son’s strokes. My son actually had two strokes as well. The first one wasn’t too bad, but as he was leaving the hospital, he had the massive one. My husband and I also brought him home with us. We had to install hand rails, and have work done so our house had wheel chair access to the rooms and bathroom. I remember helping him into the car and lifting the wheel chair into the trunk, every day to take him to therapy. I’m 4’ 11” tall, so it was a lot of heavy lifting. But he improved slowly. Fortunately, he wasn’t married yet, so he didn’t have kids like your son does. This must be so hard on them. And, as a mom, we want so badly to take our sons’ place so they don’t have to suffer. But we made it through, and we live life now with joy and gratitude just to have each other. I am now very sick, and spend most days resting.... but I still thank God for life and my beautiful family. You will get there, but you are in the worst part right now. I will be praying for you, your son and your family!♥️♥️♥️
Kelly, you are really doing a wonderful job and have really studied up on rays condition. Your explanations and knowledge shows just how hard you are working . Sugar is the devil to our bodies. We are all here for you. Virtual hugs and love all the way from Central Fl. Prayers, prayers, and more prayers 🙏
"There but by the grace of God, go I". Medical issues can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. At the end of the day, if supporting a family while they navigate this difficult time, brings ANY kind of comfort to them, it's the least anyone can do. Sending more hugs.♥
We do not have to ask for healing because Jesus Christ already died on the cross for that. By his stripes we are healed. I just think God that your son is healed in Jesus name. I pray that through this God will continue to give you strength spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally. ❤🙏🏻
Bonnie that is the wisest and most perfect reply I can ever imagine. When I read it I got chills over my entire body. So Kelly, {There by the grace of GOD, go Ray and family}. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Much love 😘
Kelly, you and your family are handling this wonderfully! I know how difficult something like this can be. Sending positive thoughts and strength your way. Your family are in my prayers! He will beat this with the support of his family! 😢❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
My daughter, now in her 40's had cancer when she was 9 months old. It was a rare form and rapid growing. She survived and I survived, it wasn't easy, but somehow the strength needed to endure was there, and it will be for you also. That was many years ago when doctors decided what was best for the patient. My husband passed 5 years ago, it was such a shock to find out that his doctor wasn't the last word in what treatment was needed, the insurance company was. it is so frustrating. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your son. Our Lord will see you through. God bless you both with healing and faith.
As a stage 4 cancer survivor, I know the power of prayer for healing. 🙏🙏🙏 I will continue to pray for the healing of Ray’s body and for you and your family to have unquestionable HOPE and a peace that surpasses all understanding as you go down this path of uncertainty. Love you ❤
I remember when Ray got covid and you moved mountains to get him home to care for him and still keep your family safe. I was sitting in my home being afraid of covid and worrying about my family. You were so honest then and so informative on how you were handling the care for Ray. It helped me to stop worrying and get proactive in case someone in my family came down with covid. Now here Ray, you and your family are in the fight of his life and you again give us strength with your honesty and openess about what you are all going through. I will keep you all in my prayers. You words move people stay strong.
When my daughter was sick and so many people said "I know what you're going through" she very aptly would say "no one knows what i'm going thru except me" She went thru Hell and rarely complained our kids are amazing. The nurses used to say "celebrate the small victories" so true. Love and healing wishes
Kelly, you need not thank us. You are important to all of us, and so are your children. You give us so much week after week and we truly appreciate your hard work. Please, no matter what always put Ray and the girls first...we will be here for you to lead us on in better times. If you need more than prayers and love and we are capable consider it done and do not fail to ask. We love you all. God bless.
This is just one chapter in his beautiful long book. As a 15 year survivor I changed my diet to high protein and high vitamins to boost my immune system. Doing that helped to fight off the cancer. You and your family have a fight ahead of you,but as a strong loving family together you can overcome anything. Sending ray lots of fight and courage and tons of love and hope.
I swear I can feel your emotions come through and understand your feelings for your son. You're a good Mama. It doesn't matter how old our children are, they're still our babies. I've experienced the same frustration with insurance as well. In my mind it's criminal how sick and sometimes dying people are held hostage by insurance companies. . much love, and continued prayers for Ray, and for you too.
I've worked in Healthcare for 25 years and it STILL blows my mind that PET scans need prior approval for patients who have already had a confirmed cancer diagnosis. It's absolutely appalling. My thoughts are with your son as well as your whole family. ❤️
Keep strong. I can honestly say that my family knows what you're going through. I was diagnosed with cancer at 19. I felt I had to be strong for my family. They said I probably wouldn't live over five years with the type of cancer I had. I celebrated 30 years in March. Anyway. You all are still in my prayers! Thank you for the update! Stay strong! Love and prayers!
Praying for Ray's healing and all your family's emotional and physical strength. Our son has IgG4 and the journey this has been for us is dreadful. Our emotions have been ALL over the place as tjis disease progresses and moves to new organs to attack. Our son is 40, has a family, and it has bonded us all in ways beyond words. As a "momma", you never stop fighting for your children, no matter their age. Prayers sometimes are all we have. Please know many are lifting you all up in our prayers. God bless and keep the faith and fight up.
I’m so glad Ray has a mentor. What a blessing to have found someone who has survived what Ray is experiencing and to give him hope for healing. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
I'm a very emotional person and that being said I feel your pain. I'm 🙏 pray God sends his healing Angels for your family and for Jesus his healer to make Ray whole in body spirit and soul. May God Comfort and straighten you to be the best loving you by Rays side. Prayers for you and your family for everything to be okay. I send love and light energy your way.
I for one feel honored that you've had the courage to talk about divorce, life and Ray. With my cancer my Dr office called the insurance company and said this needs to be done NOW!! My Dr continued to call to get all test done quick, so just might help you out if Dr's are willing. Ray you are loved and praying for 🙏🙏.
I am so happy you are feeling the prayers and support that are being sent to you. I know that I could not have made the progress I have made. Continuing to lift Ray up in prayer for a complete healing. Continuing to pray for his family during this time for comfort and knowledge in helping Ray as well themselves as each of you travel this unknown road. My heart goes out to each of you. Thank you for keeping us updated.
Okay...another comment. I'm just so moved by you and your family. The way that you and Jeff are able to put your differences aside and come together as Ray's family is another testament to how lucky Ray truly is. It may not seem like it all things considered but if this was going to happen - the support system is so important in this battle. And you are arming him with all ammunition possible to wage this war. Together with an excellent medical army. Ray truly has everything he could possibly need to beat this thing. Sooooo many prayers.....so many positive vibes and warm wishes. ❤🤎❤🤎❤🤎
There is no need to thank everyone because you are simply loved. I know that I've loved you from the first time I watched you! You are"real" and that's something that is so rare. God has his arms wrapped around you and your beautiful family. I will continue my prayers for you all!
I have never seen any of your crafting videos but somehow your first vlog appeared in my feed. I’m in awe of your strength and positivity at this incredibly difficult time. Your son, Ray, obviously gets his strength and resilience from you, even though you might not feel that way right now. My daughters are 31 and 24 and I don’t know how I would get through each day if we were in your shoes. I haven’t stopped thinking about you and Ray since I saw your video a couple of days ago. From the bottom of my heart I’m sending love and positivity to you all and I pray for the best possible outcome from the test results. I sincerely hope they get Ray’s treatment started ASAP. Thoughts and prayers from across the pond ❤️🙏🏻🇬🇧
We are continuing to pray for your son Ray and your family. Sweetie I understand the road you all are on. I myself have been battling 2 different types of cancer leukemia/lymphoma, for over 3 years now. We continue to send you strength and comfort your way. Faith and trust in God has helped me a lot and having a positive attitude through all this. God Bless You All !!!
@@KellyBarlowCreations Sweetie I have watched you over the years you are stronger then you think I’m so proud that you can actually come on here sharing what your family is going through. May god touch your family with complete healing. My son and I will ask God every night for your son to have complete recovery.
Insurance Companies are horrible they don’t see the humans behind these issues. They only see $ Dollar signs. I’m praying for you and you need to keep your strength up because it unfortunately an uphill battle going forward. I’ve been through this and know and understand what you are going through. You can do this. You’re an amazing creative woman. Fight on honey ❤❤
I wish she would share the name of the insurance so we could NOT purchase that insurance. Ray & the family shouldn't have to suffer with this abuse from the insurance provider.
Cancer makes you tired. I feel like rest is really good for him right now. I'm glad that Ray has someone to talk to. I went through cancer stage 4. I understand what Ray is going through. I understand what he is feeling. Cancer is scary. Looking to God helps so much. It is something that is out of our hands. I'm praying for all of you. Kelly yall are loved so much!!!! Sincerely Melissa from Texas!!!
As the next phase of Rays journey begins, please know that I will continue to pray for him and your family. ❤️ Family is everything. You will never be alone. We are all here with you. ❤️ Thank you for the update
My heart and prayers go out to you Kelly, Ray, and your family! My husband passed from Pancreatic cancer 10 years ago. My 5 children and I miss him, every single day. This road you guys are on, is a tough one, but God gives us trials to help make us stronger, by enduring these difficult moments. I can see how strong you are as a family, and it is drawing you closer together. Don't give up, don't give in, but keep fighting! Miracles do happen! Love to all.
I'm sending all of you prayers and positive thoughts for strength and courage. This is such a hard time I know, I'm a stage 3 cancer survivor and it still feels weird to say that! I'm so thankful you can feel the love and positive energy we are all sending to each and every 1 of you! Thank you for taking the time to update us. Hugs and prayers!
I had a port when I was treated for Breast Cancer. I am so happy that I choose that path. It is so difficult to eat during chemo. Meats were always the hardest for me to eat. No appetite but continued to keep the fluids in. I continued to try to keep normal activities as much as I could. I worked everyday but modified my schedule. I wish your family and Ray the strength to get through this. My support was my everything ❤
I had a port too and it saved my veins. I wasn’t crazy about having the uncomfortable port, but years later, I understand why it’s needed. Nurses have no trouble finding good veins in my arms.
Still send good wishes to all of you. As a cancer surviver since 2007. I couldn't talk to my husband about a lot of things. So having my private support team was really helpful to me. So it great that Ray has someone. Also hope you don't mind me saying this, but all of you should have someone to talk to. Not as a group but individually.
The port is the best way to go! During the treatments sometimes they have such a hard time getting a vein, as long as the port gets flushed once a month it can stay put indefinitely. You & your family are still in my thoughts and prayers. You can do this!!
The most impressive action your viewers are seeing is an incredible honesty from you & your family about this most personal, painful journey! We feel a gratitude and all the emotions you are going through and to know you are sharing this journey with us…you could have just closed ranks to deal with Ray’s diagnosis. So- a huge recognition to you all for letting us follow this journey and, of course, continued prayers and Very Positive thoughts are with you every steps of the way. You should be proud of how clear headed and thoughtful you are being as you make positive changes to diet and all aspects of the coming road. 🙏
Thank you for the update. Just know that my mama heart breaks & cries with yours❤️ During 2020 I gave up tv and made RUclips my main source of ‘entertainment.’ Because of that, watching my “favorites” a lot, I feel like certain creators became my “friends.” And you, sweet lady, are one that I feel like is a FRIEND. I needed positivity and your channel is one that I turned to for that. Your channel comes up quite frequently on my feed, so know that it brings Ray, you & your family to my mind very often for prayers. Funny how the internet can bring people into your life that you never would’ve met otherwise, and you feel like you actually get to “know” them and care for their well-being. So, sending much love & prayers for Ray, you and your family.🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
What a blessing that Ray has his mentor and you have your therapist. Great tools for both of you in navigating this. I will continue to pray for Ray's healing. May God give all of you peace and strength.
Hi Kelly, I actually just came upon your channel today and subscribed because your openness about what you and your family are going through both touched and made my heart hurt for you all. Cancer has touched my family 3 times and my own sister is a cancer survivor. It was a desperate, feeling hopeless time but through our faith and family and friends we all survived it. Please know my thoughts and prayers go with you all 🙏❤
There's nothing selfish about requesting prayer. Sending prayers for Ray, for you and your girls. Never hesitate to reach out to us, we're your extended family and we love you.
Your son along with your whole family have been heavy on my mind. You have built a strong family foundation that can withstand the strongest winds and the heaviest rains until the sun shines again. 🌞 You got this!! My thoughts and prayers continue…
Ray is an incredible person because his Mama has raised him the way she has. You are a strong person and that will be tested in the days to come. Prayers, love and strength coming your way from me. 🙏❤️
My heart breaks for all of you, I'm sending strength to you. Be strong & never lose hope. I know personally how you feel. My son passed away at 14 months of age from neuroblastoma. It is absurd that your insurance is giving you the run around. Shame on them!!! We were spared all that as St. JUDES HOSPITAL in Memphis Tennessee paid all our expenses. May God be with you!! My thoughts are with you daily!
I pray for you guys. My husband was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and I had to learn real quick about insurance terms and deadlines. Many prayers to you and your family.
I just saw your first video about this because I saw the title to this new video. I am praying for you and your family and all of the medical professionals who are involved in Ray's case. My hubby's name is Ray, so maybe that earns your Ray some extra good wishes. Keep positive, know that your subscribers are here for you. I saw that someone suggested that you delegate the conversations with insurance to someone who can be designated by Ray as authorized to speak for him. That might help save some energy for all your family to be able to stay positive. God is BIG! I will watch all your recent content, and go back and watch others that I might have missed. May God bless your channel, and give you surprisingly boosted support and income. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
Kelly, please know that I am praying for you & your family that God, Our Divine Physician will heal your son & give you all the strength & courage to get through this! I was just diagnosed with esophageal cancer & am not sure of my other tests right now! I want you to know that God is Our loving Father & will take care of all of you!!! I will keep on praying for Ray's healing!!!
As you started this with gratitude, I cried in thankfulness for your "fan-base", which is somuch more. I am thankful for so many things, but most of all that Ray has you on his side, his champion, his warrior mom. I have been watching your videos pretty religously since I saw your first video on his cancer journey, trying not to miss a single one. I have been amazed at your strength and "normalcy" in your crafting videos, as I know they are therapeutic for you, but also for all of us. Sending much love to you from crittersville, Saint Helena Island, SC
Kelly, you are an amazing mom who has done an amazing job raising your children. I say that, because you said how strong Ray is while dealing with this. Also you said that Kayla is a rock. They learned that by watching their Mama for their entire lives. I have so much respect for you. You never give yourself enough credit. But that’s ok, that’s what we’re here for. You know the song - I changed a couple of words. 🎶 Lean on us, when you’re not strong. We’ll be your strength. We’ll help you carry on 🎶 Got bless you
In your video, I can feel the love you have for your son, Ray. I am a new subscriber and I believe that God hears and answers every prayer. I am praying for Ray...for his healing, for strength, for faith and hope. May he receive the top of the line doctors and the perfect successful treatment. I will also pray that you, Ray and your daughter will be guided to make all of the right decisions regarding his care and much love, compassion and helpfulness from all who you will encounter on this path. It sounds like you have an army of people supporting you and praying for you. We are with you!!
Something you might find useful for Ray is to drink Orgain shares from Costco. These particular ones have 20 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar, because it had stevia instead. They helped my dad with his gastric cancer. He is 6'5" and had gotten down to 135. Once he started drinking Orgain he gained some weight and felt somewhat more energized.
You are so brave to share your story and to be so honest about it. My family is currently struggling with my dad's lung cancer and hearing how others are dealing with their difficult situations gives me courage. Thank you for that. Praying for your son, you, and your family. Keep loving and being a light!
Stay strong my friend, and I will continue to pray for you and your family. 🙏🏻 Thank you for the update. Sending you much love and strength during this difficult time.
Heather, if you or your dad needs someone to talk to, someone that can offer some hope, I am here for you. I was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in early November 2012 and was expected to live 4 months. For some reason, God has seen fit to leave me here on earth - outliving my only child and my only sibling, both of whom have passed away after my diagnosis. At one time and for quite a few years, I was a very active advocate for lung cancer awareness and also acted as a mentor for a number of people after they were diagnosed. My mantra has always been - "I can't lose. I love living life here on earth but if God sees fit to take me Home, I walk on streets of gold in the presence of my Savior. Win-win."
Please take care of your self as well. We appreciate you being here with us ❤️. Ray is a blessing and such a strong man. We hold you all in our embrace.
Some advice from a person that has worked with medical insurance companies, if any test , scan and or medication is ordered, call your insurance carrier, ask if an authorization is required. If one is required, and denied, your physician office should be appealing the decision. Ray can also send a letter appealing for a denial. Stay strong, bend when needed, but don’t give up on the fight. Prayers for strength, comfort, peace for your family.
I am so sorry to hear of Ray's cancer. My brother has just gotten through cancer of the esophagus. I will be praying for your son to be able to get well and to get through all the stuff that the road has ahead. I will also be praying for the rest of your family for comfort and strength also. My heart goes out to you all. Blessings.
As an outsider looking in....what I feel and see is your strength to overcome this difficult journey. You are stronger than you realize and will weather this storm. Your son is determined to win this battle, a true mirrored reflection of your strength. I hope you and your family feel all of the love we send today and always.
I'm so sorry for what your son and your family is having to go through. I have a 33 year old son, whom I adore, and I cannot imagine how devastating this news has been. I pray that God will give Ray and your entire family the strength and the faith to believe in His power and ability to heal. May God bless you and cover you in His love and care. 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼
City of Hope is filled with amazing professionals. One of my BF's had pancreatic cancer and COH got her through that. It wasn't the perfect solution but she's pretty healthy and alive. She's had cancer 3 times since and they've treated her, put her on trial meds etc. They really care about their patients. Prayers are always with you all 🙏😘🥰❤️
I have heard good things about COH. Also I have always said that if I ever have to battle that, I am going to try to go to Cancer Centers if America. They address the cancer from all aspects, treating the mental and spiritual part as well as the physical. They also combine Eastern and western medicine techniques. That just make sense to me. Why choose one method, hit it with EVERYTHING.
Former OR nurse here - I agree with the dietary changes and as you proceed they might be able to give you specific dietary recommendations if they test the tissue they might be able to tell you specifics for what would help Ray! Agree on the vegan diet being challenging to maintain or gain weight with but the intermittent fasting MIGHT help. Your whole family is in my prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Sounds like Ray has some amazing doctors on his medical team. So happy to hear that Ray has a mentor that has walked in Ray's shoes. He knows exactly how he feels and what all he is going through. Know that this Storm that Ray and all of you are in, you are not alone. Jesus is in the Eye of this Storm with you all. He will see you through the tough times and the not so good days. My thoughts and continued prayers are with ya'll for strength and staying positive. Praying for all of Ray's doctors and his medical team that they come up with the best form of treatment to beat this horrible disease. Continued prayers for complete healing! We serve a mighty God! He's Got This! ✝️🙏🙏🙏
I Can’t even watch you talk to us without getting all teared up. You are Stronger than you think😢You do have strength. You will have it when it is needed to keep yourself going. You have your daughters, let them be your strength as you are for them. Positive Vibes, love & Prayers….❤
Thank you so much for providing us with an update. Your family has been heavy on my mind. I am sending your family SO much strength and positivity. Y’all continue to be in my thoughts!!!!
I pray that God will continue to give your family the strength to stay positive for Ray. I claim in the name of Jesus for Ray’s cancer to be eradicated from his body!!!
I admire you for your ability to share your experience with such clarity. It shows how dedicated you are in your son's treatment. My prayers continue for his healing.🙏♥️
You are such a blessing to us all, you opened your home, heart, family crafts to us all, you don’t realize how much you are helping us all, we share your grief, joy and fear, but God has got you all, he is giving you strength, courage and lots of people sharing your journey and praying 🙏 so hard for you all,
Insurance can be SO frustrating, I am sorry to hear this. Very good that Ray is such a strong willed man. Big hugs to you all, continue to stay strong and be positive. Positivity is important, please (I know its hard, my 38 year old daughter is being treated for cancer, 4yrs now) do your best to remain positive, it's not wishful thinking. Many more prayers out for him and your entire family. 🙏💕
What an amazing family support system your son has in his corner! I pray that GOD will wrap his loving, healing arms around Ray and cure his cancer so that Ray will be healthy and live a long happy life! Prayers to you and your family for peace and comfort and belief that you will all get through this difficult time closer than ever and with an even more loving connection within your family! GOD bless you all!
The mentor is such a blessing! I believe your son needs someone to give him hope through this journey. I am still praying for you and your family, as I lay in bed at night. My heart breaks for you and I admire your strength. ❤
It breaks my heart that your family is going through this and I’ll keep praying for you all. It is incredible that Ray has a mentor he can speak to and I can see that you all are an amazing support system for each other. They tell you to keep your stress level down but I could never figure out how to do that myself when faced with all the worries and concerns a cancer diagnosis brings. Seemed a impossible task. You have so may people thinking and praying for you all. Me included. All your children are so lucky to have you for their mom.
As a survivor of breast cancer, I know how hard it all gets to be. Just remember to take a a break and breathe. Healing light to you and you family! How blessed you are in your children, and their love!
How amazing that cancer survivors would be a mentor for someone else who has the same. I've never heard of that but I'm sure that is extremely helpful and even hopeful. Continued love and support for your family.
Keep strong and keep your faith. I just seen the news today on RUclips. And I will put your son's name on our church's prayer roll. You're not alone you have angels of Christ with you you have the Holy Spirit with you and Jesus loves you and your family very much keep strong.
Placing All of you in Gods hands, including the health care professionals. One day at a time, sometimes one hour at a time. You are so right about community coming together ( your subscribers) . My beloved sister who was my beading partner passed away last month and the outpouring of kind words and thoughts is what really helped me get through the first few weeks. Thank you for sharing this very personal situation with us. Take care of yourself, since as mothers we forget when things like this happens. 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Continuing to pray for you, Ray, and your family. ❤ When it comes to health insurance: the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Don’t hesitate to wear them out in terms of follow up when dealing with prior authorizations, referrals, or even claims. The insurer should be working for you, so don’t let them forget that (like they sometimes do).
I am a medical insurance broker and DO RHIS DAILY AND I WOULD BE HAPPY TO ASSIST WITH ANYTHING!!!!! PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED HELP FIGHTING THE INSURANCE!! Truly!! ❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘❤️😘❤️
I am sending so much love and healing energy to Ray as just learning today about his condition. I am sure it is very challenging for you as a mother and certainly for him as your son to be travelling this rocky road! Sweetest blessings to you all and big warm hugs to both of you along with the rest of the family! You WILL get through this and be a stronger more loving family because of this. Don’t say “why is this happening to Ray,”instead say I know this is happening for Ray, there is soul growth in this for everyone! You are backed by the universe. Much love from Heather in Winnipeg Manitoba.
My family has had nightmares with insurance. Document every phone call, person spoken to, date, time and subject matter and if possible a witness for every contact. This is exactly what has helped. Having medical personnel as witnesses is a God send. This won’t be the last time this happens unfortunately. Praying for you all.
This is excellent advice. When my daughter had cancer, I got a 3 ring binder and kept track of phone calls to everyone, names, EOB's and tried to organize procedures and EOB's together along with bills sent. Dr. gave us a treatment calendar I also kept in this binder. Time consuming but so very helpful.
Kelly, thank you for your update. I’ve watched your videos for a long time and I feel like I “know” you, even though we’ve never met. I promise you that my family all the way in NC (far from you but close in heart) is praying for you, sending you and your family healing, peaceful energy, and wanting to encourage you with every step of Ray’s healing journey. My daughter is Kayla’s age and we both admire her commitment and love toward you and her siblings. She is a beautiful person and I’m glad you have each other. Your YT family is here for you, for Ray, and for your girls. Sending so much love to you all! ❤
After your initial post, I didn't realize that I could have more respect...more appreciation...or be more in awe of you as a Mother than I already was. I know, now, that it has only grown. You are fighting this battle in the very best way you possibly can. The research, the togetherness and the help you are seeking/finding(!) I am so grateful that you are FINDING it! This is all so incredible. I am sending you extra hugs, Mamma. I can literally feel through this screen how hard you are trying to get everything right. How hard you are trying to be there for each of your children. Every fiber of you is just pouring into it. You keep saying that Ray is strong and I believe with everything in me that he is because I know EXACTLY where he gets his strength from! Today, and for each new tomorrow, my heart is with you and your family on this journey. I am sending you prayers, positive thoughts and energy, healing and all the blessings you all so very much deserve! 🙏 ❤
Sending you lots of strength for your son. Insurance companies are nothing but money collectors. They are not in it for people. Hoping this goes smoothly for your family. Keep being strong for him, he needs his Mama....
Thanks for your honesty and openness. We are joined together in prayer, one body in Christ, bearing each other’s burdens. You are encouraging others with sharing your journey.
I know as a mom of two I couldn’t imagine what your son and your family are going through….please tell Ray to continue to stay strong because I know he’s going to beat this….❤
I can see by the words you say that you are a strong family unit I can’t imagine what you all are going through stay strong and we will continue praying. Thank you so much for letting us know how Ray is and thank you for all the time you have put into helping all of us with your strength
When you need strength, know we are here to hold you up. When Ray or the girls need strength we are here for them. In these trying times remember to look for the rainbows and hug often.
I’m so sorry that you’ve had to wait on tests because of your insurance. It’s so frustrating. I have thought of Ray, you and your family since you told us on your blog.I’m so glad you are talking to your counselor. Something I do want to share, is that when you get all the tests back and know exactly what you’re up against. You’ll feel better. It’s the not knowing that is so hard. God Bless you guys during this journey you are on. Sending lots of love and remember sometimes it takes a lot of small miracles to make the big one. I’m praying for a complete healing for Ray and strength for you and your family.❤️🙏
I agree! I work in an oncology office and I see this quite often. Once you know what you’re up against it will help you to know which path to take! God has got this, give all your worries and fears over to him! You guys are in my prayers. I was actually talking about Ray at work the other day so if I learn of anything that might help I will most definitely let you guys know❤ Love from Alabama!!!!
That was nice of Jeff to help out. I appreciate him stepping in an continue to care about your family as a whole. Kelly you are stronger than you know your kids are amazingly lucky to have such a strong beautiful supportive mom like you
I'm praying for you guys. I have children when they were younger and even with my own health I was told to ask for an advocate from the insurance company. It was like a social worker to help get things approved quickly. Having that person really helped us navigate things better. I don't know if you can get someone like that. But it would be super helpful.
You and yours have been in my thoughts and prayers...I am still alive because of prayers! God is good! No matter what please keep that in your mind and heart! Continuing to send prayers for your family! Hug your son for us all! Hang in there Mama!
You have a right to be selfish. This is your son, your love, and you love him. Prayers for you and him for comfort and strength. Love your channel and your honesty.
Praying for you & yours Carol! ❤
Thank you Patti for your strength and I pray for you & yours also! ❤
What a awesome story Patti. Prayers to your family always. Thank u for sharing...
Families are attached by the heart strings ❤️ and I just hope you know that we also have attached ourselves through your twine ❤
I LOVE that 🤎🤍
Michelle, yes we have ♡
Kelly, you are really doing a wonderful job and have really studied up on rays condition. Your explanations and knowledge shows just how hard you are working . Sugar is the devil to our bodies. We are all here for you. Virtual hugs and love all the way from Central Fl. Prayers, prayers, and more prayers 🙏
Amen. Perfectly said Michelle 💕
Exactly!! Perfectly said Michelle. ❤ Kelly we all love you and praying for you and your family.
"There but by the grace of God, go I". Medical issues can happen to anyone, anywhere, anytime. At the end of the day, if supporting a family while they navigate this difficult time, brings ANY kind of comfort to them, it's the least anyone can do. Sending more hugs.♥
🤍🤍🤍
Bonnie, that was beautiful. It couldn't have been said any more perfectly.
Kelly, so much love to your son, you and your family. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏
God bless her.God is good
God be with you Kelly I know you have people that will hold you bless you and you family
"Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path". Sending healing energy for you and you family. xo
@Donna Okoniewski well said 🙏🏾
Well... that made me cry... REALLY beautiful!
AMEN🙏🏻AMEN🙏🏻AMEN🙏🏻
Beautiful thoughts
So true. This is such a great saying
God bless.
🤍🤍🤍
This is just one chapter in his beautiful long book. As a 15 year survivor I changed my diet to high protein and high vitamins to boost my immune system. Doing that helped to fight off the cancer. You and your family have a fight ahead of you,but as a strong loving family together you can overcome anything. Sending ray lots of fight and courage and tons of love and hope.
Heard high doses of vitamin C put into veins
@@cindyschonaman7762 you have to be careful with anything given by iv. Even vitamin c can have bad reactions
Glad it helped you. But, one has to of course, check with their doctor about diet & specific vitamins.
Carnivore is the best diet for cancer. Cancer feeds in sugars/carbs. Meat is nourishing and healing. Docs are way behind when it comes to nutrition.

Praise be to God!!!
Hallelujah! I’m grateful for you being WELL!!! ❤️
What a blessing to have found someone who has survived what Ray is experiencing
and to give him hope for healing.
The mentor for Ray was an excellent idea, so grateful Ray will have someone he can talk to that has been on this journey. Praying 🙏

Amen Marsha 🙏

Sweetie I have watched you over the years you are stronger then you think I’m so proud that you can actually come on here sharing what your family is going through.
Agree
I wish she would share the name of the insurance so we could NOT purchase that insurance. Ray & the family shouldn't have to suffer with this abuse from the insurance provider.
I am continuing to pray for Ray’s complete healing and peace for the family. ❤
Prayers❤

Kelly, praying for your son for a complete healing. God is the God of miracles. Praying for peace for all of you.

As a Mom of a 30 year old and a 24 year old I can’t imagine what you are going through 🙏We are praying for your precious son and family🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much 🤍🤍🤍
Kelly, you are an amazing mom who has done an amazing job raising your children.

Win-win."
God less you.

You have a lot of prayer power here! We will keep it up as long as your family needs it! ❤
Former OR nurse here -
I agree with the dietary changes and as you proceed they might be able to give you specific dietary recommendations if they test the tissue they might be able to tell you specifics for what would help Ray!
Agree on the vegan diet being challenging to maintain or gain weight with but the intermittent fasting MIGHT help.

Kelly continued prayers for Ray, you and the young ladies (entire family). 🙏🏿🥰
As a mom, my heart aches for Ray and all of you. My prayers continue and I’m sending as much good healing vibes as I can.

Our family is continuing of prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for Ray and your family. We are true believers in the power of prayers. 🙏🏻
I'm so glad he has a mentor. Many prayers to Ray and your family. Much love to you.
Ray is lucky to have such a lovely caring mum.😉
Sending you lots of strength for your son. Insurance companies are nothing but money collectors. They are not in it for people. Hoping this goes smoothly for your family. Keep being strong for him, he needs his Mama....
Thanks for your honesty and openness. We are joined together in prayer, one body in Christ, bearing each other’s burdens. You are encouraging others with sharing your journey.
Continuing to pray for Ray, may God continue giving him strength and courage. Praying for you all. Sending hugs and positive energy. ❤
God bless you, Kelly, and Ray, and all of your family. I am praying for Ray to be completely healed, our Lord is with him, and always will be! ❤
We love you and your family. We are going to pray y'all thru this journey. Ray has prayer warriors he doesn't even know about. Hugs to all of you.
🤍🤍🤍
Kelly, you are the reason your son has the positive, strong attitude to face his future. I think and pray for you and your family daily.
That was nice of Jeff to help out. I appreciate him stepping in an continue to care about your family as a whole. Kelly you are stronger than you know your kids are amazingly lucky to have such a strong beautiful supportive mom like you
Still praying for you all 💜
My cousin has survived this exact cancer that he had two years ago. He is well and doing fine, we will pray that Ray has the same success.
🫂🤍🫂🤍
I'm praying for you guys. I have children when they were younger and even with my own health I was told to ask for an advocate from the insurance company. It was like a social worker to help get things approved quickly. Having that person really helped us navigate things better. I don't know if you can get someone like that. But it would be super helpful.
Thank you for sharing. So glad Ray has a mentor to go talk to. Continued prayers for Ray and your family.🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
You and yours have been in my thoughts and prayers...I am still alive because of prayers! God is good! No matter what please keep that in your mind and heart! Continuing to send prayers for your family! Hug your son for us all! Hang in there Mama!
I like how everyone is checking in on Ray because it shows that they care.
You have a right to be selfish. This is your son, your love, and you love him. Prayers for you and him for comfort and strength. Love your channel and your honesty.
