We definitely need more structurally sound building practices. I know concrete and steel are not feasible everywhere due to natural occurences like earthquakes, etc, but I doubt government will do anything about it since there's money to be made. Really great video.

@@mythicalmodern This came up on my recommendations today. Is that real that in the USA there aren't any guarantees on new houses? Here in the UK all new houses are guaranteed for 10 years. By the National House Builders Council (NHBC). Set up in 1936 and independent from the building companies. Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
@@grahamsmith9541 That's correct - there's really no protections on housing beyond what the builder may provide, which is typically nothing. There are many stories recently of people having to sue their builders because of huge problems with their new homes.
Also nowadays Society looks down to those workers that does construction or any maintenance jobs, so no wonder why young people are put off to doing those jobs…..

The US absolutely does not construct the worst homes in the world. How about China, or Australia, or any number of countries.
New houses should have warranties.
Definitely. Especially with all the problems that come along with them initially. Thanks for watching!
