We are extremely well equipped for that. Every highrise is built to withstand a CAT5 and most residential homes have impact resistant windows plus hurricane shutters. Irma came though as a strong CAT3 and it was no big deal. I just stayed in my building and ate snacks all day and watched palm trees fighting the wind horizontally.

That's because THERE IS NO CLIMATE CHANGE. Jeezus brother, just think.....would BANKS loan BILLIONS to these developers if they thought it'd be underwater or even in danger of being under water? Why do Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Bill Gates ALL have ocean-front property that they've bought in the last 15 years? Would the Four Seasons invest tens of millions in resorts on islands in the Pacific like Tahiti, Bora Bora and the Maldives, resorts where you literally step out of your house into the ocean a couple of feet below you, if they'd be submerged in a few or even a hundred years????? Would Porsche, Bentley and Aston Martin, all hyper "climate hoax" Euro companies, build waterfront and beachfront billion dollar hi-rise residential units in Miami if they would LOSE all that money in a few years???? Just ask yourself......Al Gore said Manhattan and Miami would be submerged by 2016............Because all the experts agreed......Just ask a few questions and it all comes tumbling down.

As someone who grew up in Miami, you represent Miami as this new oasis minus the climate change issues and obv cost of living for locals.
Here's the reality: Miami will never be a world class city.
Here are the two main reasons:
Culture - Hispanic culture does not put emphasis on details, accuracy, or, most importantly, punctuality. Life - fun, food, drink, partying - is more important in Miami than the real grit and hard work ethic that you find in other real world class cities. This also permeates through local politics. I personally love it as a Hispanic conservative/Catholic but it also reeks of typical Latin American political corruption.
Infrastructure - roads in Florida and in Miami are great. But our mass transit is shit. Not world class material.

I know a way to combat inflation. It's what they do in europe. At least I know they do it in France. There needs to be a cap on how much money people can make a year. No one should be making more then a million dollars a year. And the more you make the more you pay in taxes. Everything would balance out. But no the rich has to make their billions of dollars a year and leave everyone else living paycheck to paycheck. The rich don't care about anyone but themselves. And Florida is a prime example of this. As far as rent is concentrd.

The only people spewing out this garbage is politicians, remember Gore said the world will end in 10 years back in the 90s?
