- I tried it again, but in 3D! I wanted to implement a mix of Spectacular Spider-Man and Across the Spider-Verse's visual styles, and had a shit ton of fun making this. While the modeling and rigging wasn't done by me, I did modify textures/materials to fit the look I was aiming for.

In fairness, it’s not like Miles had a solution, saving his dad would’ve killed him anyway along with everyone. Even in the game, evil Peter takes it too far and planned to undo every death he witnessed, which Miguel called “playing god”

Cuz I'm pretty sure the more antagonistic Miguel in ATSV would INSIST on letting her die "CUZ IT'S A CANON EVENT"
The Canon event is the same as the trolley problem. Miles chose to save the single person tied to the tracks while Miguel thinks saving the group is a better choice.

@@marvelking182I mean, if he saw someone else’s death, would he still try to get Miguel to save them, Peter’s argument was how important MJ was. Now I’m sure would saved them if able to.
Peter is an “all or nothing” kind of guy. If its MJ, Aunt May, or some random kid, he would try to save all of them regardless.

This looks awesome! A bit of constructive criticism, the scene could benefit from silence in certain points in lines, like perhaps Spectacular Spider-Man's blow up about MJ. But that's just nitpicking, awesome job!

In fairness, they were in an alternate timeline, they’re trying to restore the canon. While Peter made a such a big deal, it was only important because it was someone he cared for which is a little bias. Miguel was still against evil Peter from altering history to save all those who died, calling him “playing god”.

I’m a little late to ask this, but how would you feel if there was a Spider-Man 2099 series that followed up after Spectacular ? It could be reminiscent to Batman beyond following up after the 90s Batman series.

Not sure why you made this since it’s based off of something you don’t like
So first of all, I said in my story review that I liked the scene in a vacuum but I don’t think it worked in the context of the story.
Second of all, I compliment the animations and voice acting for the entire game in that same review. Whether I think the story is good or not is independent on if I think there’s a good animation practice to be had using this scene as a reference.
I’m shocked you added this scene 0:36 since you did criticize it a lot.
The point of the animation is the practice, not whether I think the writing is good in context. I think this scene is a great example of body language so that was my main focus.
