Daniel and the Dead Sea Scrolls, Part 2

Join Pastor Reed Richardi as he explores the significance of the discovery Dead Sea Scrolls and how they relate to the book of Daniel. This session focuses on the interpretation of the book of Daniel by the community that wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls.
It is strongly recommended that you first watch Unlocking Daniel Lesson 17: Daniel 9 Part 2- The Messiah and the 70 Week Prophecy ( • Lesson 17: Daniel 9 Pa... ) before watching Part 2. The last part of this will discuss the interpretation of The Heavenly Prince Melchizedek Scroll (11Q13) which includes an interpretation of the messiah and the time period in Daniel 9. Watching Lesson 17 will give a good foundation for understading this session.

The purpose of the presentation was to share the Essene perspective and interpretation of the book of Daniel in order to better understand the context in which Jesus lived and taught. It is especially helpful to be able to compare how Jesus interpreted the book of Daniel compared to the way other Jews interpreted it during His time.
