That INT didn't bother me at all since it was 4th down anyway. The Bears actually lost yards by catching it. That was actually pretty heads up by Darnold to chuck it. It works the same as a punt. I guess you might be risking a runback for a TD, but that's a risk with punts too.
Before this, I didn't realize how well the Bears played against the Vikings receivers. Sam Darnold made some very tough reads, and made some extremely tough throws in this game.
Bears have a good to great cover defense thought most people knew that but the breakdown does make it easier to notice this kind of stuff vs live action and camera angles.
@hanslarson6277 can't remember...but I think it was the black Friday game this yr... they had like drones on the field behind the QB... best view I've ever seen in a football game... you could see every receivers route... thing of beauty...I just can't remember what network did that broadcast...I think it was Amazon and they were testing the feature... they need to go to it full-time
Im from St Paul and lived my life as a Vikings fan and i can say i love football now more than ever with the leadership team and roster we have. Well maybe I loved football more when i was still playing it.. anyways great breakdown per usual loving your videos
Yeah, it's been a little bit strange hearing analysts talking about how Sam didn't have a very good game against the Bears last week. Makes me wonder how many of them watched the game and how many just looked at the box score. The Bears' defense has been their one bright spot this season. They're a legit squad, and yet Minnesota continued to convert where it counted, took calculated risks when necessary (a couple tight-window catches, and the 4th down INT), and ended up winning the attrition game by doing what they had to do to keep moving the chains and putting 7 on the board to Chicago's 3 for most of the game. This was a better win than a lot of the talking heads give credit just because it wasn't a sexy win.
Still don't get why there is complaints about the 4th down interception. If it was incomplete it would have been better field position for bears, so yes i want my qb every time to not care about his stats and give some one a chance. That was a good ball to give some one a chance but it the act that counts
17:40 this is such a disgusting throw. Sam's arm talent can match anyone in the league. If Mahomes threads that needle, ESPN wouldn't shut up about it for days
I agree about Sam under center. This offense cooks on another level if we run more formations under center. But KOC loves his shotgun too. I always got upset last year too with him not putting Kirk under center more. It’s when we are at our best
This was a bad game by Darnold and still came out with some crazy throws. The throw to JJ to get to the one/two yard line was one of the best throws I've ever seen him throw. You can't defend that.
The interception was actually a good play in my opinion. If it was 2nd or 3rd down he probably would’ve just thrown it away, but since it was 4th down he figured that he might as well give his guy a chance.
Not a fan of that show because of Shady and Jones’ disrespect of individual players like Darnold. NYJ were and are an obvious dumpster fire organization, yet they hate on Sam relentlessly. Darnold has shown every trait he was drafted high for this year, and most impressively, doesn’t let bad plays ruin an entire game and has always finished them strong.
@Ejohns1004 Whats wrong with Mccarthy sitting and continuing to develop? It is a win, win to extend Darnold for a few years. If he keeps this up going forward they stick with Darnold. If Darnold falls off then they can transition to Mccarthy.

I agree with you
Nope, it was a smart decision
@@jaredpribyl agreed, if it's 3rd down, I don't think he throws that
Well- that’s the same reasoning for a 3rd down bomb instead of this 3rd n long useless draw play

They definitely played tight coverage on some of those throws.
@@worldzealot You can’t really see any routes on the broadcast. I’d love an end zone view to watch live

Dumb complaints
These videos are legit. Great Job Chase! 👍👍👍
Glad you like them! Thank you
When the Vikings are in 3rd and long I feel even more confident in Darnold. Dude has been great.

Love it. Seems like it's snowing where you're at Chase; ski well.
Happy early merry Christmas Chase, I remember watching a few of your nfl games.
@15:00 wow the receiver on the right sideline (Addison I believe) absolutely shook his guy on the comeback route

Loving your analysis bro!
Appreciate it!
6 years ago Sam Darnold was dropping dimes in the rain at the Columbine. The Vikings win big in the rain.

Not horrible tho!
do a search on his throw to braxton berrios vs the 49ers. it was one of the best throws EVER in nfl history. no joke yo
Love these breakdown especially from my Vikes.
Thanks!!!

Jordan Addison taking a step up is huge
Great video, i need more

Do you believe this is something that will translate well in the playoffs?
We shall see!
First play, the TE is Josh Oliver.
I’m still mad as hell that Spielman didn’t draft Jaylon Johnson.
It only took you 14 weeks you already missed the boat
I did a breakdown earlier
@@ChaseDanielShow You did. It's more like the algorithm is finally starting to recommend Darnold videos to non-Viking fans.
Chase Daniel from NFL QB to RUclipsr... Wow
You, from a regular person to a Hater... Wow
I don't want "them " to talk about us, they'll just end up Jinxing us, so "they" can just keep their mouths shut 😅
Skol💜

Love it
Don’t worry Vikings fans. In our usual fashion, we’ll fold like a lawn chair in the first round of the playoffs
You'll fold" you PUNK😂
84 is Josh Oliver
What qb wouldn't dream of playing for koc
Who is Chase Daniel?
Sorry ass backup QB who never played any meaningful games got sat down for a rookie Russell Wilson and rookie Carson Wentz 😂😂😂
@@TexanEagleFan nice. And how many years did you spend on an NFL roster?
Hi! Played 14 years as a backup. Thanks for the comment and views!
@@TexanEagleFan You didn't make it to the NFL though 🤷
You couldn't even make an NCAA roster.
Damn I cant believe you said r word
Gonna be real interesting to hear people's cope when the Vikings tell Sam Darnold to kick rocks at the end of the season.
Yeah that's unlikely to happen. I think they will will offer him 2 or 3 more seasons
Doubtful
@@ChaseDanielShow you think they're gonna tell McCarthy to sit on the bench or trade him cause they've got Darnold?
