Excellent lecture. Still I find the phrase "pertinent to his stylistic evolution" overblown. I wonder if the plainer English of "pertinent to the development of his style" might be preferable. Further, the plural form of "still life" is "still lifes," not "still lives."

The plural of Still Life is Still Lifes….not Still Lives !!
