Thanks so much. I graduated 3 years ago and never got the opportunity of an engineering position in the oil and gas industry. However I got really quick a job in the workover rigs and became a roughneck. My bosses are kids that went into the field right out of highschool. I can’t complain I make a lot of money, but the impotence of having the knowledge and not put it to use hunt me. Anyways. I appreciate it the video. Blessings.

I got my first degree in Environmental Science with an emphasis in Engineering. I got an MBA, and currently pursuing a Natural Gas Engineering master's at OU. I would recommend people to look at obtaining certifications. such as the PMP, CSM, or a Data analytics certification. I'm currently a fire protection engineering project manager, but definitely looking into the financial and banking industry next with Commodities training. This video is very helpful. take care.

Hello yoshi.. 👋🏼☺️This is the first ever video of your channel that I am watching. Thank you so much for the all the valuable information you shared BUT I was Actually looking for the answer of a completely differnet question. You see I have done Telecommunication engineering and then I did my Masters in Electrical engineering (Communication).. Now coz of the extremely limited opportunities and choices and also coz of the very low pays that are being offered in telecom industry I want to change my career.. May I mention that I graduated from engineering university in 2012 and completed my Masters in 2019. Now I want to to shift my career path to petrolium industry coz of obvious reasons.. Good pay.. More opportunities etc.. So can you PLEASEEEE PLEASEEEE make a video about this subject as well..? So People like me who are looking for a career change INTO the petrolium industry can get some guidance..? If you could take out some of your valuable time for this task I shall be very grateful to you for that. Thanks a lot.

Taking the SPE Certification exam might be useful. And as for institutions I’m
Biased towards the schools I went to- University of Texas and Texas A&M University.

What about studying heat exchangers , mass transfer , gas processing. I mean taking courses from mechanical engineering, chemical and civil engineering will they be an add on for a petroleum engineer ?
Because there are petroleum engineers who do not like programming or data analysis or python .
