Update: I wrote a small CYOA for my friends to play while we're on our flight to Glasgow. The story features a group of friends travelling through time in Glasgow (you can see where this is going. It's not a very serious story, but it features a system where my friends can choose to play a character which is based on them, which includes certain perks and downsides based on them in real life). Your workshop helped quite a bit! We're flying soon and I'm excited to see what they'll think. Thanks again!

imo.. the most difficult decision is how long do you make the story. For example: a 20 page story, with 2 options on every page, would result in a book that contains over 1 million pages (take 2 pages and double it 20 times). I would never be able to write that many pages in my lifetime. Great video though.
I wonder this too. In my teenage years I tried a few that let you decide basically everything, but, once I had an entire giant binder full of pages, and the story only progress to you like brushing your teeth or something, I realized it was insane to do that way, lol
Is it alright to write a choose your own adventure in third person? I know they usually be in second person, more are popping up in Amazon, but they are in third person and they are still fun to read.
@Burley Pelletier Yes, I think it prefect because you still have a character with looks and characteristic but you still be part of the story since it feels like you are the narrator.
@Burley Pelletier Some of them are smut choose your adventure story on Amazon like monster girl tower the grammar isn't perfect but still book one was great.
This was very useful thank you! Best of luck with your new book!
Great workshop, thanks! Where can I find the timeline worksheet at the end please?
This is great, thank you so much!

Thank you for simplifying the process.
