Yes the circuit and the connections are exactly same as you have showed in the video.....I have used the button, led and resistor as in the video but still the motors are not running..... What do i do?
Make sure that nrf24 pair working well, you can check this by uploading other library code. Make sure that all wires are connected where they needs to be.
Both are same gnd, no need to connect both. Even if you connetted both won't cause any problems. But same gnd should be connected with all other parts.

Because when the motors are turned on they draws heavy current surges at start, causing voltage to dip which cause Arduino reset. For smooth operation connect separate battery for Arduino.

Hi, I connected everything correctly but can't get the tyres to move. I've tested all my parts individually and they all work, I even tested the transmitter and receiver side individually in Serial Monitor and got readings. For the transmitter, I am getting coordinates when I tilt the mpu6050, and for the receiver, I am only getting "START" showing in Serial Monitor. But when I connect both of them to test together, nothing happens and the tyres don't move at all, please help.

Connect switch and led on the transmitter side. When you will press the switch , it should start the transmission, by default transmission is disabled.

Most probably You have connected batteries in opposite polarity.
Another question, on the batteries, i have to put 2 on the car and 1 on the sensor. What i do with the other slot of battery?

Check the output voltage at the pins of Arduino nano at receiver end which are connected with LM298 driver.

By using that switch you can enable or disable transmission.

You can use any valie from 470 ohms to 1000 ohms.
Other side connected to the pin of arduino itself.
