Joyce Jonathan: Music can speak and is universal

French singer and songwriter Joyce Jonathan performed at the Golden Panda Awards on Wednesday night in southwest China's Chengdu. In an interview with CGTN's Zhang Meng, Jonathan shared her love and interpretation of music. "For me, music is to spread the good feelings and kindness, even if you don't understand the lyrics. In fact, music can speak, and that's why music is universal." Jonathan was born into a family with a deep love of Chinese culture. She mentioned Joker Xue when naming a singer in China that she would love to work with in the future. "I really love his voice and melody."
