Footage if the hail storm in greeley on August 3rd, 2013. This was taken from my parents house in the Promontory subdivision. We had just driven through it (see previous video).
I’ve never witnessed or been in a hail storm I imagined it to be like snow but harder but this is different than I expected also poor puppy :( I’m glad it got to safety
I've been thru 2 major hail storms. One had baseball size hail but easily crumbled and exploded on impact. Caused very little damage. The 2nd one I went thru was golf ball sized and it destroyed all three of my cars. Those hail stones were solid clear Ice. Wish the weatherman knew in advance what type of hail is involved with the thunderstorm approaching, via updraft data, or lift. Because when I hear a warning issued, my first thought is what kind of hail are we dealing with. Not what size.

I was in Greeley when this happened, sounded like someone was shooting our window with a bb gun. More than anything I was surprised how fast this happened and stopped. O_o
I am so glad that I didn't move to Greeley til November of 2013. Between the flood and this I would have been fucked seeing how I was homeless for a while.
Oh I've learned enough as it is. So far in the year I've been here I've had a guy attempting to break into my car at 1 in the morning. My room mates car broken into another time. Caught a guy going threw our mail another time. Theres more and I could go on but yeah I would love to move somewhere else maybe Loveland.

Where did the dog go for shelter? You said it was ok, but it must have been driven mad by the hailstones. Was there a porch for it?
