Nottingham Goose Fair 2022 | OPENING NIGHT FOOTAGE | 4K

Nottingham Goose Fair 2022 is back!!! After a 2 year absence where it was last held at the Forest Recreation Ground in 2019. This has been a long wait where the Goose Fair had been cancelled for 2 years due to the Global Pandemic but it’s back for 2022 BIGGER and BETTER with the City and all the Showmen looking to put on a spectacular display and performance for it’s return which should put Nottingham back on the map.
Join Me where I capture all the Fun Fair rides and atmosphere from the opening night from this Traditional Charter Fair……but!!!…..There’s a but!!!
The return of Nottingham Goose Fair didn’t really open to the spectacular it’s used too and that’s no fault of anyone but the gods in the sky YES it absolutely poured with rain bang on opening time and it did leave the opening night a bit of a damp squid forcing many families and thrill seekers to plan there visit for another time.
Luckily this year The Nottingham Goose Fair 2022 to mark its return has a extension to its usual 5 days and this year we see the Fun Fair returning for 10 days so I’m sure the wet and damp start will fare better over the next coming days. The Nottingham Goose Fair is on from the 30th September until the 9th October 2022 with the official opening of the charter commencing 6th October 2022 by the Mayor of Nottingham.
However I still managed to capture the opening of the Nottingham Goose Fair 2022 with plenty of ride footage from all the machines around the site with all the atmosphere and capturing the lights from this night time visit.
There’s plenty available if you are visiting including all your favourite rides for thrill seekers and families with new additions for 2022 including VOID,Red Devil,The Storm and many many more along with the reroof IceJet and New York New York both remould for there spectacular shows. There’s also a vast array of Juveniles,Food and Drink including a bar and of course Mushy Peas along with a whole street full of street food and not forgetting the Game Stalls.
I hope you enjoy this footage it was just unfortunate the atmosphere wasn’t quiet what it usually is but I’m sure given the weather more would of turned out but there’s 10 days and the weather looks promising for the rest of the Nottingham Goose Fair’s visit for 2022

Uk fairs just all look the same these days all the unique rides have gone and it’s just duplicate city now. Once you been to one you have done them all. Even the 2 big fairs this and hull used to draw in the unique rides which made it worth traveling too. Now it’s just multiples of the same on a mass scale.
Luckily we have winter wonder land but you loose that typical fair buzz with all the music being Christmassy.
Oh why can’t our circuit be more like Germany 😢

Fairground rides have certainly changed since I used to visit them. I remember the days of the dodgems, ghost train, big wheel, waltzers etc.. With the rides towed by Scammels, ex MOD AEC Matadors, Fodens and ERFs. I remember the rides and the truck's all used to be hand painted with elaborate designs and very artistic..... Perhaps I'm just showing my age now.....

Void doesn't look as good as what it did at Hull had all the lasers and seemed to have more lighting at Hull, red devil's cycle looks poor as well on some of the videos I have seen

It was due to the weather VOID today is full flash with moving heads and lasers. Agree with Red Devil very poor cycle today they didn’t even unlock the cars.
