The Demellier Montreal bag is exactly like the Balenciaga Hourglass bag. Same handle, flap, stiffness and magnetic closing. I love the Demellier Montreal bag it is so practical and stylish.

I bought the exact same bag online and returned straightaway.
Pros: loved the look and the capacity (although it fits less than you would think because the sides fold inwards) and liked that it didn't have a middle compartment and had feet.
Cons and reasons why I returned it:
1. Smooth leather which came with a slight fingernail indentation on it so I suspect the leather scratches easily. I would go for the croc embossed (or if available, pebbled leather).
2. The base is very wide and when you wear it crossbody, the base sticks out a lot! Even though strap is adjustable, it was too long to wear as a shoulder bag.
3. The strap attaches at the back of the bag and has a tendency to wanna tip forward.
4. The glazing on mine was really uneven which made it look like a cheap quality bag.
