    Absolutely love the fact that this Captain chooses to hand fly the aircraft to altitude!! Awesome!! We as a commercial pilot community are loosing our stick and rudder skills with all modern automation in the cockpit these days. It's always great to see pilots taking the time, especially on clear VFR days, to hand fly the airplane past the usual 1,000 feet AGL. Again, great job, Captain. I would fly with you any day.

      Yes it is. So many of these pilots are quick to hit the AP. Glad to see that’s not the case here.

      @@DanielC__ I know it's been awhile since your comment, but what is wrong with hitting the AP? When I'm driving, I like to hit the cruise control. What's wrong with making life easier via technology?

    I just discovered your videos and they are fantastic! 54 years old here, passed my single engine IFR check ride last week, my commercial a few years ago and decided to do my twin IFR next year. Never too old to try and these videos inspire me 100%! Bravo!

    I love the moment the plane starts it's takeoff and then it lifts up, also love the spectacular views, it's like I'm actually there in the cockpit seeing and experiencing everything. Sir I would feel safe with you as my Captain.

    Great video mate! Love YVR, can be some very scenic departures/arrivals when the weather is nice. That was a long roll out, you must of been heavy? Good luck to our brother in the hospital. Keep the videos coming.

      Thanks, love it too) Happened when the AP had an MEL restriction on it’s use so I had to fly manually the whole flight:)

      I have a good friend that has flown both planes. He flew B-52s in the airforce and he said that he likes the Max the most.

      Positive rate. When a positive rate is observed on the vertical speed indicator, it is time to retract the landing gear.
