I like how respectful and careful the host is. I'm not japanese but i think this is quite important to them and it's good to see her take her time and making sure she does it right. Just the video I wanted to find
@Mike - _ - Litoris japan killed more people than nazi germany is brutal ways. Today most are extremely xenophobic. Im not hating japan , its their own country they can do what they want but no country is perfect and to think everywhere else is better than the US is ignorant
@Mike - _ - Litoris you are brainwashed. Lmao you think there is an actual nazi problem while a bunch if self admitted communists are burning down cities across the US? Use ur brain dude
Information in the video clip is brief but useful, the informality of the delivery is proper, in this case. However, the background street traffic negates the spirit of the ceremony completely. Couldn't they find a more appropriate place? Many japanese houses have a small area set aside within the house (if the true Sukiya tea room is not practical or affordable), and that would be a much better setting. Explaining a tea ceremony with the police sirens blazing behind the window, cars and pedestrians speeding by, is not very dignified. Good old Toyotomi Hideyoshi would have some heads rolling.
TBH, I find it hard to believe that they even got the okay to do something like this at all. Everything here has to be BIG or Exciting! I'm glad they were able to, but this is probably the best they could do.
Ideally, yes. But tea ceremony was often performed in a tent on a battlefield for warlords - not the quietest or most dignified settings. Similarly Zen meditation is exemplified in a temple or solitary, natural setting. It makes it easier to practice, but being able to do so in a natural setting (eg, street, park, workplace) is exactly where you will want to do it and benefit from the practice.
I am only half way through the video, but the camera is focusing on the people talking and not the actions of the person demonstrating. Quite annoying.

⚠⚠⚠✔yeah she is a really great host
I like her too. She is dedicated to share this information to the audience without being offensive to people who perform their culture.
I love how respectful the host is and how Hashimoto-san explained everything carefully.
Japan a country which makes simple things look extra ordinary since ages.

Did anyone notice he dropped some tea 🤣🤣
Senpai going to be upset about that one 🥲😅
quite a lot actually
She is just so damn pretty.
Kae did a very nice job with the ceremony. Fast, but exacting.
Its not ginseng but I think Iroh would approve.
I thought his favorite was Jasmine.
I enjoyed that. I saw this in Karate Kid and I just had to get me a set. 🥰
英語とてもお上手で尊敬します。私も日本文化を発信できるよう、お点前と英語がんばります。
i plan on doing this ceremony on scaramouche’s upcoming banner so i can drag him home with my soul purified
After all what i tested, Kenyan tea with Lemon best (Lipton), so most breakfast teas.
Any body know what the candies are they had before the tea?
Those are called Wagashi
It called 'yo-kan' that japanese sweet bean jelly.
Beautiful ceremony but the setting could have been a lot better. All the traffic going past spoilt it slightly as it was a bit distracting.

Only in America would someone talk SO MUCH during a tea ceremony.
She needs to slow down. She's also making the guy nervous.
Brackpink ❤️💓
I don’t like the way she cut him off right when he started to offer a prayer. That was disrespectful
I thought the most well known thing about Japanese culture was hentai
How well known is hentai tea ceremonies?
