We have 2 x C200s. I have started using the CFAST 2 to SSD Adapter from Marian Munteanu from Italy. $100 EURO incl post to Australia. I get 2 Hrs of RAW on a 1 TB MSATA SSD. This works so well. You can then edit straight off the SSD. The 8 bit is way better than my Sony 10bit. It is all about the Canon colour science.
Thanks. It's the Benro 75mm Hi-Hat and a Manfrotto Fluid Head (502 I believe). Honestly, I love the Hi-Hat (Induro makes a similar one), but would look at a different fluid head if you want to also use on a tripod. Miller & Sachtler come to mind.

I used to own the 502, it worked but I'd like more indicators like the Benro models, however they're about $100 more expensive.

HI James, Hence the c200 has a minimum iso range of 160, may I know what is the reason for capturing the video on 800 iso in this bright sunlight situation. Please advise when you get time... Is this a native iso on all light situations? WHat if I capture the same bright light condition with a 160 iso range
When shooting Log it is generally a good practice to rate the camera at 800 ISO and above if you want to retain the highest number of stops above middle gray. If you shoot at 160 you will have more stops below middle gray but that's not ideal when trying to protect highlights. -Jem
Here is a response from Nic, one of our tech specialists: As mentioned in a previous comment, Canon RAW Light can only be recorded internally on a cfast card. You can record off of the video outputs, but they will be normal video feeds at 8bit 4:2:2.
Great review. Just bought some Quaser's from you guys today. Quick question: I am renting this to shoot with soon...If I am recording on an Atomos Shogun Inferno, in ProRes, can I still record 4k? 4:2:2 externally on the Shogun? I thought I could ..but someone who owns the camera is telling me you can only record 4k on a cFast card!!! Or am I only getting MP4 even on an external monitor? That make no sense to me. I own a EVa1...so I am new to Canon C 200. LOve the autofucus btw :)

And the rolling shutter. And this has cooling so you can shoot 4 hours and never have to worry about heat damage and / or camera giving up. ... Besides it looks very pro Very And Canon is overpriced ;)
Hey man, great video! I realize I'm a bit off topic here but since you have the C200 as well I'd be super curious if you experience the same strange possible sensor alignment issue I've noticed. I am indie filmmaker,my dream want to make short (or longer;-))film in future to festivals or even to some TVs ,so no events,wedddings,I am not youtuber etc .And I am not decided C200 vs FS7(or something another?!,And sorry have no hollywood budget:-(), C200 :has AF, raw, but only MP4,not on Netflix list f.e.. FS7 has better codecs,a lot better "broadcast"codecs:-)- is on Netflix list of cameras f.e.!!!, but not raw,and I don like base Iso 2000 because of noise, my A7RII and even little A6300 have base ISO 800 in slog it means no noise!!!:-(,(btw.both have beautiful look for me in Clog2, but shame poor codecs:-(,shame of you Sony,also for A7RIV I was waiting with the same 8bit codecs btw., in 2019?!!!), and AF everybody here says is on FS7 worse than C200?! So what is your opionion. your recommandation for me? Please, a lot of thanks!

Benro 75mm Hi Hat. You would pair that with the fluid head you want to use. They also make a 100mm bowl version.

Ya I thought so at first, when I shoot with mine, you just have be careful and grade it the right way cause its raw

One of my favorite things about the C100 is the microphones in the handle. For run and gun, they are just there and do a great job. C200 looses that.
Which is what most reviewing the two say is an advance for the C200 and not a "loss".

What did you mean when you said it is always rec.709 that is recorded to the SD cards? You can change the gamma to CLOG and CLOG 3
CamZambie I am referring to the color gamut not the gamma. You can choose Canon Log and Canon Log 3 for the gamma.

CamZambie Yeah. It’s also even more confusing as Rec.709 can refer to both gamma and gamut. Not the case with Rec/BT 2020.

The camera has an HDMI 2.0 output that is capable of 8-bit 4:2:2. The SDI is only HD.

Why these days 7k$ camera can work with 8bit 422 but a 1.5k$ camera can do it 10bit 422 :(
the 1,5k cameras are often crop sensor cameras, this is super 35
Because Dual Pixel AF, ND filters, SDI out, RAW Recording, 3 more stops of dynamic range, some people think colour science, but I can't see that.
