I'm mostly docked in the web3 space, but I see your content once in a while, this interview is wholesome, you are obviously a proper genuine person. I hope that if for any reason you fail, it will not drain totally but will make you an even better person Cheers Ser
Wellldone Opeyemi. Just stop feeding your fear!!! You are multi talented, you can always move across diverse sectors. Stay true, hardworking and humble
Amazing interview! straight to the point. i was glued. He truly knows his onion in advertising. May the Lord give him the strength to overcome those fears and handle it excellently if ever they come coz a winner will always be a winner. i have had a number of failures. the ability to start again and succeed yet again is simply God's Mercies.
I spent over an hour poring over seafood content and some of his videos today because of his RUclips Short that popped up on my timeline today. The coincidence in this interview dropping today also is wild for me. It makes me appreciate his craft even more. I especially love what he said about intentionality. Kudos to him 👏
Great interview and well done to Chude and Opeyemi. Just a few thoughts or critique: 1. I'm sure it was a slip of tongue but Chude should try not to use the f-word in his interviews. 2. Opeyemi may not be arrogant at heart but he needs to be cautious with how he comes across when giving critique. He should maintain his self-confidence and objectivity but channel it through a humble demeanor. Humility will take one far in life and people would respect you even more. 3. Opeyemi endorsed corruption and the (mis)use of money when he spoke. This is very wrong and is a bad example to people watching. Corruption is already killing the country and a public figure like him should speak against it and not proudly say things like 'thanks to corruption and money...'. 4. Finally, Opeyemi is doing great but can go even further if he invests in actually owning a restaurant and learning how to cook the meals he offers critique on. This would add to his credibility in the long run.
You don't have to be a cook to be a Critique... Do you follow Ope... He knows how to cook, I am sure you listened to this interview... Him and His mum would try a food, go home and go make it...
Hi Ope pls don't be scared, don't fear anything.God got you and your money is genuine, you are using your talent well and you are doing what you love. Your future is secured.God will keep expanding and blessing you, just trust God.
I really loved every moment of this. This is also the first time I’m seeing anything from Ope. I have never watched any of his critics. But I already love him for him. This was a very inspiring and informative session. I enjoyed that he was allowed to talk as much as he needed to. I’ll be rooting for Ope going forward.
@@emmanueletim1753 Yes and also with the shoulders if you closely observe. These are some of the twitching signs associated with tourette syndrome. He mentioned it on one of his interview videos. I really can't remember now.
That question, where is the fear coming from? , it's coming from the subconscious mind, when you repeatedly tell a child something, it shapes their view of life, and subconsciously affect their response to almost everything in life . Not just what you say, but what they see you do and also the environment that they absorb growing up. The problem is an issue that has been planted in the mind long ago .
Mediocrity is highly celebrated in this country, and alot of times even the most basic corrections gets under our our skin. Do I always agree with Ope's critique? No! But people need to learn that it is essential to hear good and bad feedback to grow, dont be salty because
As someone who knew Opeyemi in comment sections before he blew, he truly had been proud and cocky before this fame and money. As much as I don't care for people, I probably will be in the frontlines fighting for him if that ever happens.😂😂😂😂
Opeyemi please have no fear, sometimes we attract what we are afraid of. The Bible says "the path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter until full day"(Proverbs 4:18). This is the begining of the great things the Lord have for you, your future will even be greater and much more glorious. Rest in the Lord and be at peace.
Ope please settle with your mom biko. Yes I have know Ope since like our teenage age, this is him, true and authentic, he has always been proud, but not in a bad way❤
My question is simple, is he a cook/chef? Has he studied the art of food making from a school or even from home? If not what is he basing his critique on? What is the basic criteria for his food criticism? Is it based on his taste bud? If it's based on his taste buds then we can argue taste differs and it's not a paradigm for judging food. Goodluck to him though i love how he is moving, strategically, i really learned alot.

My first time hearing an African Journalist use the "f" word on their program....I'm just saying...it caught me off guard. Love this host and his prorgam though!
You know when they say, "Never trust a skinny chef"...? I believe it also goes for his line of work. And this is not to body shame him (for those getting ready to come at me with venomous fangs). Somehow, it's easier to trust his judgment about food because you subconsciously believe his taste buds should know better.
In 10 years time, I’d come back to this interview, watch it and smile. Cuz hopefully I’d be a different man by then. Hopefully

This is apt.

Tourette syndrome precisely

There's a confidence that people in this part of the world interpret as pride. Thats what Ope possesses.
The mindset is indeed powerful
Very calm and relatable conversation.

Opeyemi, please also watch your weight.
This opeyemi is so annoying and ignorant. He’s highly overrated. His food critique lacks luster
