Glad the clock is still doing well in the back. Guess the big question is would your good lady be prepared to do another trip like this? I think you've done great navigating. There's definitely a sense of satisfaction pulling off a big trip like this.
It really did feel like we'd accomplished something so big, I think we did male mistakes, mostly around daily distances and times which caused the last few legs to be 'uncomfortable' and the heat certainly didn't help. But we will do something similar next year, but plan the riding days a bit better 👍
These are flying in at my end & that's me caught up! 😎👍 Secretly hoping yous go the long way round going home & deliver another dozen or so parts for this trip! 😬✌️
Just as I'm watching... I believe it's common practice for them to move over to the extreme edges in queues and slow moving traffic to allow emergency vehicles a path through. Oh and of course motorcycles 😇
That's one helluva trip you went on there. Brilliant you could do it together on the bike. No way my mrs would do something like that for that long. I also think it's brilliant the way they move over to leave room for emergency vehicles to make progress. Why oh why can't we do that in this country. We spend our life blasting the bull horn at people to move over in traffic jams or slow moving traffic. I really must stop saying "we". You've retired tojj, get over it!!🤣🤣
🤣🤣 you'll never retire from it mate, I left the forces 23 years ago but still think like I am in. It's was an awesome ride mate and never say never, 2 and a half years ago my Mrs told me she had zero interest in getting back on a bike after a 24 year gap. Now we're touring Europe and I cant get her off the thing 🤣🤣
They move over to let the emergency vehicles go down the middle not us bikers, but it is good to use till you get caught as I did you get a scolding as they say here in N.I. LOL.
@stephentaylor1476 very good point Stephen, I was quite surprised that there is little information of the British envolvement at the memorial (probably because America paid for the museum) I only mentioned the Americans because many people will have watched Band of Brothers and it was such a pivotal part of the war that was dramatised so well in the series 🙏
Awesome Memorial.
It was an emotional visit and well worth it 👍
Lots of motorways but some very interesting stops 👍
Yeah bastone was a stunning memorial and museum, sorry about the Motorways 😭 at this point our arses had had enough 😫
Great stuff mate. 👍
Thanks buddy 😁👍
What an incredible trip!!
It was a real challenge but loved every minute 👍
Epic trip very interesting places you have been to too . buddy .
Rolley :)
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant and so relieved the cuckoo clock had a good evening. Entry barriers give me anxiety 😬
🤣 if I'd read the instruction bikes don't have to use them at the museum 🤦♂️
@@wsmv 🤣 but you were in a foreign place. I'm always worried about the barrier closing before I'm through offer the barrier not opening on the way out
4:09 super cool bridge!!
👌 I do like a well designed bridge 😁

Ah sadly not mate, my rear end couldn't take it 🥵
One more and that it 👍
@wsmv Here's hoping Karen doesn't read that then...You referring to her as your rear end! 😮😂✌️
🤣

Yeah I found that out after the event, but I felt like I was in an emergency situation to get to the next hotel 🤩

@@Tojj29 evening tojj, how's the shoulder? Well if the Mrs won't go maybe take a bit of crumpet 🤣😇
Painted my toe nails whilst watching 🙂
🤣🤣🤣

Ah I did wonder if that was the case, but I'll take any opportunity to get ahead of a traffic jam 🤣
Went to the Bastogne war museum last year and just walked in, didn't pay a penny 🤔
I think you can get in for free. We paid for the translation headset which means it all made more sense. Fantastic place to visit ❤️
Just to let you know one hundred thousand British soldiers took part in the battle of the bulge, a little fact that seems to be forgotten .
