- Well, they did nerf him from a Super Boss to a Post-Yharon Boss, so it kinda makes sense that his attacks patterns are easier than most Infernum bosses.

AEW wasn't meant to be hard. We nerfed him a lot and even put him down to post-Yharon because he's just another lame water worm 🤷♀️
Haha yeah... I found this out only after I beat him. His nerf makes a lot of sense. Truth is, I was not having a good time no-hiting the other Infernum bosses, so I'm glad he's nerfed, I can only imagine what kind of beast an Infernum Super Boss would be with how hard the mod already was... Imagine a true form which is just to challenge yourself with.
i know they nerfed him because they didnt want to put to much focus on another worm boss, but as fan of "Deep ocean monsters and horrors beyond comprehension" concept (mi favourite even), im kinda disapointed. I really liked the idea that in the deep of the sea theres a creature not even Yharim could beat.
It would be cool if there was a non-worm deep sea beast that Yharim couldn't beat

That attack where it and its babies swim upwards is, like, an easier version of that one attack of the perforator hive
some other bosses/minibosses have it too such as giant clam

It still a fun fight and feel like a break from hell and the theme hit hard pinpinNeon did such a great job at pointing the scary of eidolon wyrm
it didnt even look like it died just faded from existence.
Wish there was an option to make him harder because this thing is practically a natural eldritch monstrocity

That does look easy. It actually looks fair tho. And the fact its a nerfed version makes it seem more fitting than being the only “superboss” like AEW is in regular calamity

fun fact: it’s actually very possible and not that hard to kill the desert scourge in infernum just by sitting in a box, jumping about and swinging a good sword, because if you stay inside his body the damage from his head rarely registerssl
Thats bc its been turned into an actual boss... not a superboss that was never designed to be beatable...
To be fair, his fight is actually well-designed unlike some others that require you to keep track of 20 things at once just to dodge one pattern
The fact that a boss which is considered a demi-god that rules over the deepest part of the ocean, has the attacks a kirby soul boss would have, its...suprisingly weird
And also, I dont get why neither the infernum mod devs and the calamity devs haven't added YET a mini eidion wyrm pet is truly dissapointing

I feel like adult eidolon wrym shoots unused auric Tesla bullets during his spin attack, i mean, auric Tesla bar looks dark yellow and emits light blue lightning, so if you could craft auric Tesla bullets, it would look like that, right? The lightning light blue would be the top (the top of a bullet always hits the Target, btw im sorry if i couldnt write it understandable, my English is kinda bad) and the bar would be the back of the bullet

see for me he just spawns enraged for some reason no matter what i do
How are you spawning him? Infernum reworks him so that he spawns enraged if you use the rod of discord to spawn him (see end of video lol). He has his own spawner and unique first spawn found at the bottom of the abyss.
Well yeah you can just use a conch to dodge his attacks. Devs I swear to god you patch that with some arena bs so I have to beat this boss legit and never will but instead lose everytime I WILL find you.
Try it in Multiplayer bro be lagging in ways you've never seen before😂 but I true he does seem a bit too easy? I guess it's so you can actually get the Terminus or something like that

Infernum multiplayer is pretty laggy, it's made for singleplayer but kiiinda works in multi, worm bosses are extra bad in my experience
