Churnet Valley Railway steam gala 2019 *starring* Caledonian Railway no, 419

Coming to the North Staffordshire Railway line for the 2019 steam gala all the way from the Bo'ness Railway is Caledonian Railway 439 class 0-4-4 no, 419 in it's striking Caledonian Railway blue colour scheme and making a starking contrast with the line's winter visitor Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0 no, 3694 Whiston. Today both visiting locomotives were supported by Polish 0-6-0 tank engine no, 2944 & the USA S160 2-8-0 no, 5197 as all 4 locos powered their way between Kingsley & Froghall, Cheddleston & up to Ipstones. This gala seemed to be very popular especially for the Scottish interloper. She unfortunately failed on the last trip to Ipstones but unfortunately I wasn't filming at this point

I'm currently looking into that one as there are some great events coming up and it's a matter of weighing up which ones will be best to attend
