    Nice one Chris! I still run an old i3 machine running Windows Home Server v1. My retro machines happily connect to that. Plus it backs up all of my machines from XP to W10.

      @@RetroTechChris it drove me up a wall. Then again I’ve worked with traditional Windows Servers for 15+ years.

    A while ago I tried to switch my existing NFSv4 share using that v2 option and it made things go crazy for my modern clients using the share so I had to remove it. So seems the service/share has to be dedicated to msdos machines.
    I went back to using FTP for my transfer method.
