Hello, I'm a disabled person from Pennsylvania, USA. I will never be able to experience what you do, but through you, I feel alive by your wonderful videos. I hope this comment finds you well and safe. God bless you always.
Rod...as I sit here waiting for my surgery watching your channel I am completely relaxed. I cannot thank you enough for your content, all your hard work. It is valued and appreciated. Cheers mate!
@Tim & Ronda On the GEAUX! he paraphrased the Star Wars quote “these aren’t the droids you’re looking for” at that time stamp. The pic was that scene in the movie when Ben Kenobi says the line.
Hey Rod, I just wanted to thank you for being an inspiration and a light of happiness in my day. You inspired me to learn how to cook and every video you put out brings a smile to my face. I couldn’t be more grateful and I hope you stay well. Cheers!
Those dumplings look very good! You need a TV show, honestly, between the fishing, boating, wild camping and cooking ~ we are totally captivated and "hooked"! 😉
he actually won a competition run by some media competition that was between all these fishing content creators, but couldn't figure out a way to make it work in a form that was better than his current system of working and making videos on the side. bit dissapointing but Rod still kills it! The video where he explains it is called "What happened to the dream"
"Surely something is going to grab this who can resist?" The most powerful words a fisherman could ever use. Thanks for sharing your adventures brother.
Everything u make is so fresh and delicious looking. The scenery is spectacular! I' d love to travel to a deserted island and do what u do!! That's living!
rokkit kit for the cooking and kayak missions, field days for the ruggedness and survival missions, ybs for the toys. each awesome in there own waym my honest opinion
I live way too far inland to be eating fish that I catch (and I've never fished in my life) but I'm living vicariously through your vids, cooking up a storebought fish and planning a freediving trip!
Thank you for making the concept of making homemade dumplings feel less scary. As an American I don't know anyone who makes homemade dumplings but always wanted to make some.
Love watching ;I was born in Alaska and loved the salt: we set crab pots: King tanner, and dongeness crabs, halibut, salmon , and yellow eye snapper eel, clams mussels, octopus, cod and so many other fish, and other types of sea food, nothing like fresh cooked, and the ambiance; scenery to eat your catch as you watch the sun down!
the first country that i ever dreamed to immigrate is your country Mr. Rod.. aside from its tropical weather, what i also love the most is that your country has the most beautiful beaches in the world.. eventhough Philippines is in a tropical continent the most i envy in your country is that all kinds of fishes in your beaches can just be caught along the shores unlike here in our country most of our fishes can just be caught in the deep sea bcoz people here have no discipline in catching fish.. how i wish i can live in your country and do also what youve been doing and that is fishing 😍.. by da way, i am fan ur channel and also one of ur subs..
Beautiful ocean and island scenes. Those are strong fishes and they’re legal eating sizes. I only know them by their Hawaiian names: Papio when they’re legal catch size and Ulua when they’re big, but the bigger ones would be too strong for your pole. Thanks for the videos 🌺
Hey mate, I think you were travelling behind me Friday last week from Maryborough north through the roadworks. You had the Subaru with the boat, I was in the Silverado (offshore boat was not attached). Looking forward to watching that next adventure.
Your dumplings remind me of Pot Stickers, a Japanese dumpling that is boiled and then fried a bit and filled with meat filling. You did a great job they looked good. 😊
thanks Mr Rokkit !!! your vids inspire me so much , keep living the dream and never stop. ,,,, would love to take my family on a camping adventure with you and your fam !!!
I love the can of Aerogard roller. The multi-functionality! hahaha. You should get sponsored by them honestly! :D Love the vids! Looking forward to the next one!
Some believe that the moon light is reflected from the sun, but the true is the moon produce its own light, and it is a bloody cold light. That is why full moon camping is always cold, specially if you are not sheltered from the moon light. Thanks for that Rod! \o/
Hi Rod, thank you for making these videos! I would never have the chance to experience anything like this but love watching you do it. Always looking forward to your vids after a long day at work. Keep it up!
Thanks Rod. This was a wonderful episode. I know you’ve been through the wringer recently with your mate passing. So thanks for making these because they are great for our mental health and yours to I hope.
Awesome vid, Rod! For future reference you can use the bottom of that aerosol can that you used to roll out the dough to make perfect cut out circles in the dough for dumplings. Not that you'll ever be making beach dumplings again but hey you never know! lol
Oh wow, just discovered your channel! Such a beautiful place you have landed in, and those dumplings look delicious!! Great video! Now I will have to check out your others too!
Another great video Rod! Love the catch and cooks you do! Always been a bucket list thing to do! Travel from island to island and do catch and cooks! Drive on man!
Wow Rod, you’re getting very creative with your cooking skills and making amazing foods with limited resources. Very impressed and totally enjoyed the video. Feels like I was there with you 😊
Mate, found your channel a while ago now , been binge watching for while. Those dumplings were actually fire. I just come back to this vod/episode after watching everything else you have posted. I havn't watched the live streams you do on the kayak or anything yet, I don't know if thats, my kinda thing. Maybe when i watch one, it's gonna top everything else off. In the mean time. Awesome content. Thanks mate.
I'm sure you made the wise choice and I'm glad you're still around to provide more content but a 5 day, trapped by a storm with no food video sounds pretty cool!!!
That's called momos here in India with chicken instead of the fish. Couldn't resist tellin y'all.😁 Btw i love your videos, they're my go-to while snacking 😉
Great video mate, you make people all over the world want to come here and go fishing & snorkelling but the funny thing is I reckon nearly everybody who watches this is going to make fish dumplings, always great content, hope you got back on flat seas and kept those dumplings down.
as always fantastic and interesting content in your vlogs, i love it how you can cook so yummy food, just on the beach ! i enjoy watching your adventures 😍sitting at my cozy home ! Lol ! Thanks very much, stay safe 💙✌👍
As usual, love the catch and cooks! Thanks for going the extra mile and make dumplings. They still turned out great! (Or good enough to make me crave dumplings at 1 in the morning 😂)
Made some Queenfish dumplings using your “method”. My first dumpling attempt ever 😂. It came out great. Love it, just like the Queenfish Cheeseburger 😋.
Hey Rod, Love the vids, just a tip: after you cook the dumplings you can flash fry them in a little vit of oil and it gives them that golden brown crust on the outside (crunchy and delicious). Keep it up 👍🏻
This is like a fishing, cooking and survival show all in one.
Are you kidding me?...the meals this guy cooks while camping blows my mind. good stuff

The video intro feels like a dream. You perfectly captured that feeling when you first get out of the tent early morning
Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream
Especially when he mentioned the smell of the dew
Pretty much the reason I watch him, his intros are often breath taking
Really digging your dialogue, but what’s with the Star Wars pic at 10:08? Cool though., maybe if could mean I win the True Kit Dinghy! Ha!

Ahhh. Happiness is getting onto the recliner, firing up the TV and launching a new Rokkitkit video.

The hungry sportsman should always bear in mind, that it's called fishing, not catching, and for good reason. Great video,. as usual. Thanks.
Thanks as always for taking us along on the journey Rod! Always a pleasant way to end a day!!
I just found you and I’m already hooked your voice just makes me at ease thank you for the great content!!!!
The grunts of that trevally are so cute!!!
You cook better on a deserted beach than I do in a full kitchen!! Those dumplings looked soooo good. Another great video Rod. XOXOXOX
Stumbled on you!....what a great 2part episode!...you have knife skillz!...among all the others!!...Very Entertaining!! Thank you!

Cool sunrise! Nice way to wind down after a busy day with a drink and a rokkit vid. Happy Friday
that weather was a mood, like a classic dream scene lol
I enjoyed the more elaborate cooking this episode. Ocean spaghetti next? With fresh squid ink!
Hey mate, I think you were travelling behind me Friday last week from Maryborough north through the roadworks. You had the Subaru with the boat, I was in the Silverado (offshore boat was not attached). Looking forward to watching that next adventure.

Sensational Rod !! The fishing the scenery.......and ooh the dumplings looked so good.

Frying them would have been so amazing
Man you living how I wish I could, big ups from Canada brotha!

Don't forget to flower the Aerogard can. If you pleat the dumplings too thickly, they'll steam inconsistently/some raw dough.
Hi Rod, thank you for making these videos! I would never have the chance to experience anything like this but love watching you do it. Always looking forward to your vids after a long day at work. Keep it up!
obi wan popping up in my screen out of nowhere spooked me tf out
I can't believe you made gourmet dumplings while island camping, that is awesome lol. Love your vids!
Great video Rod. A ice cold beer would go great with those dumplings.
That’s absolutely 🤩 amazing

Brother, you are on an adventure and it looks fun.
Lol, I caught the Obi Wan. I have always been able to see those single frame things. Fight Club is fun to watch for that.
My mother in law has dumpling magic hands. Helping her during spring festival, she has done 10 perfect master pieces to my 1 deformed lump.

Epic trip! Calories expended catching and preparing meal = 2,500; calories consumed = 650 😂😂, but worth every bite! The dumplings looked delicious.
I'm sure you made the wise choice and I'm glad you're still around to provide more content but a 5 day, trapped by a storm with no food video sounds pretty cool!!!
I can't believe you made that from scratch. I' coming from your Shin Ramen video to this. As a Korean, I bestow upon you The Honorary Korean status.
Great vid as usual and Great idea for something different in catch and cook .
You handle those dumplings with class Rod! Very creative. Video was fire!!
Ps: i always watch your videos till the end.
That's called momos here in India with chicken instead of the fish. Couldn't resist tellin y'all.😁
Btw i love your videos, they're my go-to while snacking 😉
Great Catch & Cook. Thanks for sharing. ✌️😉
Just a thiought, why not try using the jar lid to cut smaller dumpling skins from the big one, that way the size will be consistent as well.
Great video mate, you make people all over the world want to come here and go fishing & snorkelling but the funny thing is I reckon nearly everybody who watches this is going to make fish dumplings, always great content, hope you got back on flat seas and kept those dumplings down.
Awesome! The dumplings were looking superb!

I saw that Obi Wan photo. Had to double check because I thought I saw something but wasn't sure.
That just looked amazing and sashimi is not yucky, it looked delicious raw, too. Cheers from Cali
Hey Rod! It's Rod (me)! I've never made dumplings. I want to try now. That looked legit!
Rod mate, those dumplings look absolutely delicious! Gonna give that recipe a try with my next catches! Cheers 🍻
Those dumplings looked delicious, but i bet a quick fry in the pan would have kicked them up a notch
Wow those dumplings looked awesome Rod I might have a go at them myself.
Awesome vid. Keep up the great work. Now I am hungry. Lol. See you next video
Really great video, glad you beat the weather.
