  • Hey everyone! Shortly before 0700 on Monday morning, northbound freight train A419 came off the rails on the CN Westlock Subdivision near St. Albert, Alberta. A total of 16 cars came off the rails, but no injuries, leaks, or fires occurred, even with seven loaded diesel tankers in the wreck. The cause of the derailment is still under investigation, but the cleanup crews sure wasted no time getting to work, despite the cold snap! With the branchline being shut down until they could clear the wreck, I'm sure they were feeling the pressure to get it back up and running. Thanks for watching!
