I use CIT at 5.05% right now, but I'm considering switching to Popular Direct at 5.4% Only using the HYSA right now until the government approves the budget. 1 month Treasury bills are at 5.4% and have the added bonus of you don't pay state taxes on your interest, so it's a higher return than a HYSA. Only thing is there's no telling what's going to happen to your money if the government shuts down and your bill matures.
Technically it’s not free money- you gotta pay Uncle Sam on the interests earned but definitely this is much better than BOFA or Chase checking accounts that give only 0.03 🧐
