No need to rush into it, eat what you enjoy! I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I just happen to be plant based because of my preferences. I feel good and that's what matters! I used to ve vegan, but I didn't know about the need for balance so I was quite unhealthy. Theres actually too much of a good thing, healthy foods. Hope that you are able to remember to practice balance when or if you decide to go vegan! Thats my biggest tip for making it a healthy, happy, and sustainable experience.
My family was confused why I wanted to go vegan and it took them awhile for them to be on board. I did tons of research and watched videos in order to teach myself and my family on how I wanted to be vegan. I never liked meat so that change was super easy for me. I never liked eggs and dairy made my stomach sick. I feel that with anyone who wants to transition should definitely do research and take it slow and not switch straight to veganism. Start out slowly and do meatless Monday. Then gradually start swapping some foods out. It’s surprising to see that tons of food are accidentally vegan.
