Very informative. They turned out very well. I too built these. The instructions repay several read throughs, don't they always! I do like your fulsome description as well.
Thanks for your comments......the problem with instructions is that the rush to actually start building something is too great and they often get missed or read too late, Keith
One easy mistake I made to avoid: do not start at one end adding the top piers and upper walls and work along the wall length, as progressively the piers will creep off centre from the wall joints below. The rain water pipes will then be off centre. Better to glue top piers in place and trim top brick panels to fit.
I made a similar mistake at the beginning on the first two sections. I then realised and then left them off until I had joined all the arches together.
They do look superb, and ideal for that curve. Regards Ian.
