How To Make Wooden Japanese Kumiko Pattern Jigs

In the last few weeks I have been watching lots of videos on the Japanese woodworking - Kumiko! This particular style of woodworking is amazing and involves lots of detail and accuracy.
so before I went ahead and attempted a kumiko for the first time ever, I decided to make a few jigs which allow me to make repeatable cuts at the correct angles.

A word of advice, I would use a clamp on that miter saw to cut the 67.5 piece instead of my fingers, miter saws have nasty kickbacks. Stay safe

How comes you didn't use screw inserts instead of just screwing straight into the wood?
