I have 4 amiga500s and 3 commodore 64c computers..i am 52 so was a teen when these were at their height....emulation is very convenient but it doesn't give you that 80s feeling if that makes any sense.

A1200 needed a couple of MegaBytes of FastRAM to reach it's potential. It effectively doubled it's speed. Without FastRAM it wasn't a great deal faster than an A500. If you didn't expand your A1200, you missed out.

I didn't like the A500 because it looked just like the C128. The A1000 is beautiful. But if you're going to buy one, the A500 is a better choice. I own both.

I grew up in the southern US and commodore 64 was very popular here. It's a real shame that the Amiga wasn't. I feel like I missed out on a lot of great games

Amiga 1200 with better soundchip would helped. The cpu was better then SNES. Why could not they make better games on Amiga 1200 like SNES?

I enjoyed Addams Family a lot, being of a particular subgenre that I am always open to explore more. I would probably play the SNES version nowadays due to the missing backgrounds on the Amiga.

I went from a ZX Spectrum 128K Toastrack. To my Amiga A500 when I got it home from the Silica Shop down Tottenham Court Road. It was a quantum leap in the home computer market. I still use my A500 to day but my orginal one was sent back and I got an A 500+ as they did nit repair it. I have taken out the battery out.

I thought there was some Worms Christmas edition, was expecting to se it here,

the A1200 was ruined by the CEO of Amiga announced the CD32, which a A1200 underneath would be getting a keyboard and mouse add on's making the A1200 redundant, so no one bought the A1200 waiting for the CD32 keyboard.............which didn't happen and ruined Amiga.

Glad to see Cannon Soccer on here. Think it was the first clear plastic disc I got, looked great and the game was really good for a novelty game though hard to go wrong with abit of cannon fodder

Great video. Back then I bought the Amiga Batman pack, great fun. I’ve played about half of the games on this vid and would really like to try them all. It’s a real shame that all these Ocean games are lost to time, I don’t think we’ll ever see or play them again 🙁

I love the A600, as that's what I got as a kid, and I gamed so much on it. I still have it, refurbished and upgraded. This year I finally got the A1200 and I have to admit, it's superb as a retro machine. Both have their uses, but if I had to choose one, the A1200 wins.

Ocean always made the best movie games. They gave me some good ól memories on their C64 games.

No don't ever apologise, the detractors and trolls won't approve your apology. 🤦‍♂I take it you got some harassment over the previous video? The Amico drama you must understand is a lot more nuanced that what you've been hearing from the detractors. The console has been mismanaged but part of the gaming community has been total control freaks over what you can and can't like. You have no idea the amount of harassment I've got over this and still do to this day. The people who wanted this to fail are really horrible people. Sure the CEO messed up but the community has been just as bad, if not worse! 😆

The Amico was a great idea. The games I didn't really care for but the idea of how it was going to merge physical and digital media was the future of gaming. It could still come out and do all those things but it would need a miracle for everything to align which is just a shame. If the console doesn't come out someone else needs to take that idea about physical and digital media and make it happen so we can still buy some type of physical games in store in the future.

Two out of four isn't bad but you do need to sort out those audio levels.

If there's one game I ever wanted back in the day it was this one. Yeah that comedy score is about accurate, that was painful to watch. 😆You really just had use the dog as a platform for the boy.

Why hidding the game titles ?

I have both, for me the amiga 500 wins for a mile, the graphics are much better for playing games…but thats just me!
