The memory foam tends to pit after a months usage…, so I started using mask liners, Does anyone use mask liners with their F-20 mask?

Thanks for this video. I have used this mask for a month and like it. The foam part should be changed every month. I was given four foam replacements for four months at our 2-hour instruction session by ResMed a month ago, so I changed to my second one today. The straps take some adjustment to get a good seal.

I am between sizes. The small is comfortable under my eyes but i feel it is short on my chin. The large fits me well except it is annoying up by my eyes. It feels to far up and tge bottom is comfortable on my chin. What do you think. Which size should I wear? 5/7/24 11:20 am.

I use the cpap now and have the memory foam F20. However, I got the nose bruising and bleeding. My husband suggested using moleskin across my nose like you would for your heels breaking in new shoes. That has helped tremendously. Still have a few leaks and the noise, but I have a fan and cotton in the ears to drown out the noise.

**ATTENTION ResMed DESIGNERS: HOPE ResMed has “IMPROVED” THEIR HARNESS STRAP(S)!!! Unfortunately, the straps on ResMed’s Mirage FX and Quatro Air are GARBAGE. With 12+ years CPAP usage, these harness straps need replacing after just six months. Why? Because (1) the loop-side fabric sheds to non-adherence AND (2) the straps lose their modest elasticity. Plus the two Velcro strips are too damn short - sometimes pulls apart when turning over. I’m fed-up and finally seeking alternative head gear. Have you read this ResMed?

this mask was trash for me, only lasts me a few weeks before it starts leaking ridiculously and i have to have it so tight that it blocks my nose

does it leak air from the top into the eye that is a concern for me

you didn't mention if this was for a particular type of sleeper I am a side sleeper No head support at the top though

If you drool, you can’t wash the foam! I use the silicone.

Question i’ve used the Airsense P10 for years now since I started using a cpap, it’s the very small one that only goes in the nasal passages, will switching to a full face mask be very difficult to get used to? Or maybe even possibly be a more comfortable and easy transition?. thank you

The biggest problem I have with this mask is removing the hose from swivel. Unlike most masks like the f20,to remove you hose without taking off your mask,all you do is press two tabs and it comes right and just a gentle push and it clicks right in. With this mask,after having to pull on it real hard it is going to break.

QUESTION: how your face looks likea after 8 hours using the mask (AirTouch)? Any picture/video about that?

CAUTION: There is a hidden reason they recommend frequent cleaning and replacement of equipment - there is a real risk of developing respiratory disease from the buildup of bacteria and viruses (they should make that clear!). I used my AirTouch F20 mask for 4 months without cleaning it much or replacing parts, to see how long it would last. Then I contracted nasty laryngitis and could hardly speak for two weeks. A few weeks after recovering, I came down with a painful sore throat. It finally dawned on me that these illnesses were undoubtedly caused by my failure to maintain my mask as instructed - previously, I rarely ever had illnesses of this type. Lesson learned, from here on I will clean and replace parts regularly!

i could not seem to detach the silicone part off of the frame to wash it.

Say I bought the airtouch, but I didn't want to keep buying replacement foam coverings. Can I just remove the foam and use it like that or would I need to buy the silicone mask?

theF20 silicon is very good but the memory foam cushion is the true home run out of the park , cushion,no red marks or soreness on the upper nose or the eyes .

How long did it take for cpap to make a noticeable difference in your life? What is your current go to mask?

I just started CPAP therapy last week. This is the mask they gave me. It is hard to sleep on my side with it. The mask fits my face well, my machine is APAP so sometimes I need to adjust the face mask on the front when the air pressure increases. My only issue is that I have bruises on my forehead in the morning from the cross part that is on my forehead.
