Craftsman is were it's at and the brushless rp line is even better, I've been rocking these tools for almost 30 years started with the gray 18v back in the day when you had to go to sears and buy them, I've been using them for my business steady since 2018 still have some cordless tools running from then.

These boys must be from around Lafayette lol. That accent makes me miss my time down there. I came for the review because I was skeptical about aluminum as a hammer material but I stayed for the nostalgia. Anyways, I’m curious to know how these things do when pulling nails and prying.

As for rough framing using 12penny, 8penny and felt cap nails the 28oz estwing waffle the the best choice. You don't have to swing it fast to set the nail and if you miss and hit your finger it kinda bounces leaving a purple spot without taking the hyde off. Once set it pounds the nail in with less energy and swings. Plus its heavy enough to bump rafters over the bird mouth undamaged when the layout is a little off. That's why I hate 22oz hammers. You have to swing it with more speed to set the nail and if you miss due to it having a less wider head as the 28, count on it leaving a busted open bleeding finger. Especially when installing wall-brick ties. Try bumping a rafter over a little and it bust the rafter tail. The 28oz estwing is the best choice for rough framing. Period.

I have owned my DeWalt 40volt 6ah battery chainsaw for 8 years and it still runs strong with the original battery , my brother-in-law owns a 2 year old Milwaukee Fuel chainsaw , and yes the DeWalt has faster chain speed and about the same tourq , both are great saws.

Martinez, M4 is the way to go. I put down all pro 3 years ago and started swinging the shorter Martinez. It was a total game changer. Also quality is three times better than anything I’ve ever used so in retrospect the $300 hammer is worth the price

12:33 Why do you face nail the siding? LP calls for blind nailing wherever possible. Also, I don't understand why you would use a 15 gauge trim nailer. Although I love that Hitachi and have run one for decades I don't believe it meets manufacturers minimums for nail diameter.

Dollar for Dollar, I use my cordless tools very little doing hardscape. Angle grinder/Sawsall/Caulking Gun. When all my Dewalt 12 volt had done its time, I started getting Dads favorite tools craftsman 20v. Watching this video to see if it's worth grabbing this thing for 6x6/4x4 posts mostly or keep dragging a old heavy circular saw to cut 6 posts to height. Just as I expected not a Dewalt but perfectly priced and capable for what I do. If I need bigger still have all my 120v tools

Never put enough miles on a steel hammer. But the Stilletto is too light. Martinez is best of both worlds. Flip it around, twirl, finger spin. Martinez M1 has the best balance of any hammer I've tried.

Bro. I own 2 Martinez hammers, theyre good tools BUT pretty much any hammer at HomeDepot will pass this "stress test" of yours. First, hitting something with the hammer is called "using the hammer" and shoot, my bare foot can probably handle getting run over by a giant tire on soft dirt.

It's funny cuz we carpenters barely use hammers except for knocking things into place. We don't drive many nails these days, so why bother with a 300 dollar hammer? I've got 6 different hammers on my truck. I don't have one hammer for everything.

I’ve got both the M1 and M4 with M1 head. Found the M4 didn’t quite have enough length behind it. So got the M1. Shock wise I couldn’t disagree more. The hole point of the Ti is stop the shock in your hand. Which was the biggest thing I noticed going from the estwings. So ye. Are they worth the money. Errrmmm not sure. Do I like having it. Hell ye. Would I buy another one if it got stolen. Probably not. I do think the length thing is something you just have to get used too tho as everyone I know with them initially said they don’t like the way it fells but now we don’t like the feeling of normal hammers.

Commercial wood framing (tiered residential) With the Martinez is a breeze i used to use a steel hammer before and it would really trigger my Carpo after using the Martinez it all went away years of abuse just stopped i love the heavier swing i can sink handies with 1 or 2 lite swings because in framing the faster you are the better!!!! Crane is on its way we need to get shit done...
