God I love this show!

The entire premise of this show is insane, it’s both Farrakhan level historical revision while at the same time acting as apologia for the cruelty of the monarchy, also if you think out the implications of this show, it gets pretty insane, like in theory this would be the same Charlotte that married the king George in the revolutionary war period, and I think slavers would probably mention a black queen, and not only that, but like within 2.5 generations or so from that, it implies the English monarchs that did the scramble for Africa were black, which is kind of bizarre, like all and all this show is major L. Ron Hoyabembe vibes, for the life of me I can’t understand what it’s even trying to say about history

The editing did miss the mark a few times…the comment he makes to Pen at the engagement party about her being overwhelmed and maybe having second thoughts…someone forgot they had been intimate in what’s to be their home…I mean really…how could he refer to the carriage ride and not the bed…

as much as i love this season, i cannot help but notice that it was edited poorly , there were visible continuity cuts, major scenes being cut just to air benedict's threesomes , it was so unneccesary . i feel it wasnt really polin's season completely even though it was their season , i can think of very few wholesome moments b/w those two despite being the leads , their screen time felt incomplete and unsatisfying

Sempre que passavam aquelas mulheres esnobando a penelope nos bailes eu me perguntava onde estava a mãe da penelope para uma vez na vida defender e ficar ao lado da filha ela parecia nunca se importar eu diria que ate mesmo ela concordava com que aquelas mulheres faziam com a filha

E a Portia ainda queria porque queria que penelope casesse com um homem rico mesmo dizendo que casamento assim eram infelizes

a ironia é que aparece uma parente distante com problemas e a portia não se negar a bancar a boa família, mas a própria filha vivia sendo humilhada nos bailes pelas damas e suas filhas e portia NUNCA a defendeu

Pra ve genevive era mais próxima da penelope do que a própria mãe ou irmãs

Bom pelo menos havia essa mulher que não era esnobe com a penelope como as demais damas da sociedade que metidas e arrogante

Eloise vivia dizendo querendo insinuar que sua vida não era boa ,mas ela tinha muito mais que penelope pra começar uma mãe extremamente amorosa ,irmãs que eram suas amigas e com quem podia contar ,irmãos que a protegeriam de qualquer coisa ou pessoa

penelope is a very lucky women a hot loyal kind husband and 2 hot and cute brother in laws who have always treated you as thier sister and now a cute baby son who will grow up and like his father will want to protect his dear mama and will be furious if anybody upsets you i would have a smug smile penelope on my face the whole time because if they value thier lifes then nobody is ever going to upset you again
