Hi I have no warm air coming out my vents during motorway journeys only in my Audi Q5 2018. I've been told I need a HVAC control flap repair kit to replace the control flap arms. Do you know what they look like please?

These cars take on water like the titanic. The sunroof drain holes tend to clog leaving water in the driver or passenger footwells. All the rubber seals along the speakers tend to leak. Around the 3rd brake light and hose that you mentioned. The tail lights like you mentioned and those rear vents. The sunroof plastic frame tends to crack as well letting water right into the car to drip right onto the headliner and into the car as well. And there is no easy fix for that. I can't beyond the life of me think of any other modern car that has so many water ingress issues.

My 2019 tiguan diffently has this problem. When I stop my car at a stop sign and start back up, you can hear it moving! I told my husband it was from rain..... They never want to listen, do they! It's not the kids' fault now.

The MK7 is a cursed car. My brother-in-law had a problem with the timing chain from the MK7 and we heard it coming. VW played stupid when we pointed it out and then bang, it happened and was the car rubbish. Continuous seal leaks were a great extra!

Excellent work there! I guess the moral of the story is don't buy a Tiguan with a panoramic roof! those rear pipes look a palava to swap out. as a DIY repair (botch) I wonder if you could extend the hose at the bottom by joining sections of hose with a metal tube and jubilee clips!? would save dropping the roof liner etc

if you replace the speaker seal, won't it just fill up past the speaker seal and run in through the cone?

Seems like you have too much coolant.. drain Abit out. That will help it heat up past 70 degrees

Hi mate got a 2018 Q5. Matrix was slightly blocked so flushed out worked fine until I took on motorway and hot air gets colder when at higher speeds. Scan shows the same fault code b109207. Would this be due to recirc valve or matrix do you think? Great video by the way!!

Hey guys. I have a 2020 A6 2.0 tdi with a coolant leak cannot find where it is can’t see anything at the front of the engine. Losing about 500ml every 1500miles. Garage has no clue either!!

I purchased a used 2010 Tiguan and started noticing water on the passenger floor front/back. This helps, but now I'm wondering if it's just the grommets you mentioned blocked. Where would I find those under the car? Really hoping it's a quick fix like that, because pulling cables looks like a pain in the ass.

What if after the car is taking to the service center and they change a part, the car makes a click sound when going from park to drive ? Only in the initial parking to drive it makes a click sound

Sorry to bother you, I have one more question. Because the crank pulley has to be removed to replace the water pump, does it have to be put in the TDC position timing or is it simply removed and put back in any position? I know they have teeth that have to match on crank side and pulley side. I'm asking because of tdc timing. (if you know the tightening torque of the main crank bolt from the pulley, I would be grateful)

Hello Dean. Sq7 4.0tdi I have a new OEM water pump (057 121 008 M) Is it enough to just remove the dowels, or do I have to replace the metal gear as well? My problem is the time it would take for the new gear to arrive. Thanks for replay!!!

I had the same problem with my SQ7 after the water-pump replacement. After searching the whole internet I found out, that the metal gear has to be replaced to a plastic one Audi has done it and I had only to pay for the liquids (that was the deal). This was when my SQ7 had about 200.000km ... now it has 460.000km and I never ever had problems with that Thans for the video and greetings from Serbia

Hello, what exactly you mean by "upgraded pump" ? A friend just changed his coolant pump for a OEM one, but already before changing it he was having that noise and it continues now. The gear in the engine is metal and the one in the pump is plastic, should he had to ask for a pump with metal gear ? Thank you

I had a problem were my rear seats were soaked my boot was full of water under the spare wheel...I noticed that the seal on the rear doors was wet through. And when I closed the rear doors I noticed a gap just above the door handles on the rubber seals . I put tape over both sides and bingo no water was getting in. I've only just found this out so looks like my doors need new rubber rims fitted.

You said "that's how you repair" but you've shown us the issue before you repaired it, then after you repaired it with absolutely no insight or footage on you repairing it. I'm no mechanic, but Audi quoted me £450 to repair this fault but also gave me the part numbers. I don't know what wiring to disconnect, to connect or even how to get the center console cover off. Was hoping you'd show that as part of the process but I'm honestly no more the wiaer about how to fix this problem myself having watched this.

Great vid. Ive just replaced the waterpump on a 3ltr Q7 and it is still leaking! Looks a lot of fun stripping down to access it (said with trepidation and a flickering eyelid) How much do i quote, do i actually want the job or should i close my garage and get a job in a supermarket now minumum wage is £11.50ph for an easy life and be done with it? Its all to be considered lol. But yea, ive got one and your vid has saved me a lot of pondering of the unknown and blind speculation to the road ahead. We are in Bolton so if i sleep on it and then decide i dont want the job i will refer to you guys.
