update: i decided to trade my 2020 latitude for a 2023 trailhawk.made a pretty good deal i think,i pd 29000 out the door,i like it.

Aswome vid man...its great u show and tell exactly what issues u had and how u fixed them. Most guys would probbaly just edit out all the issues and not talk about them, i appreciate your honesty in all these vids. Most auto projects i undertake they never seem to go as smoothy as the youtube video i watch. Not sure if i will attempt some of these projects on my Renegade, but im still subscribing to your channel because i enjoy watching you do what I want to do to ny Renegade..lol.

2 Years after the fact...VVivid is a superior Product for Diy Projects like this. Did my Jetta with it and it wasn't too bad. not so keen on the wet app and heat gun combo. came across this trying find someone who used the product on a renegade cause Im gonna take a stab at it. PEACE !

They may have well as discontinued it after they dropped the manual option. I bought a 2016 new and never would have considered it without the manual.

I love the smaller size jeeps. One of my first cars was a Geo Tracker and I love the old school vibe of the Renegade. I just traded my 2016 Renegade for another 2023 Renegade (one of the last ones!)

Hey, this worked exactly as you mentioned here. That one guy mentioned opening the whole flap instead of going through the rectangular hole, but I didn’t need to. I didn’t even curse! I didn’t need that aggressive bee buzzing, but good jump scare, haha. On my passenger side, I saw a common thing in the 2016 model - a exhaust/intake chamber was just rolling around. I was able to see up where it came from; that is when I unscrewed the two phillips screws to view inside better. Snapped that back on and I am good 2 go! Much appreciated!

Haven't watched your door speaker video but i can almost guarantee those were the issue. My stock speakers were starting to blow in my renegade just s few years after i bought it. Hot garbage. Replaced them with some mid tier JBLs and it made a world of difference. I need to do those dash speakers too. Thanks for the walk thru, my man!

The best thing you can say that proves a Renegade isn't a fiat is by looking at the control arms. They are huge fat meaty chunks of metal and the fiat control arms look spindly and thin.

I tihnk it has to do with US EPA regulation... a shorter car has harder time to not pay pentaly . Sadly that leads for msaller and more economical cars disapear from market. Also Renegate is pricy for features set it has.

The one with the canbus is plug n play in any car?

I've used the Kelty Kitchen Galaxy deluxe. Plentiful pockets for utensils, spices, etc and spacious for pots, pans, and plates. It also hangs when open, its fantastic.

Huge bummer. My wife has had her Renegade since 2016. We were ready to get another when they dropped the news that it was being discontinued. Couldn't find a '23 with the features we wanted so we ended up with a '23 Compass Red Edition. Would love to see the Renegade come back in some form in the future
