Bigger gap ,slower the weld ,the slowest welders get laid off first ,but you know that already,senior

Wide gaps with no land make s for slow welds ,more rod and time ,also causes mis alignment ,don't make work,it's a weaker weld in reality ,with no land need more filler and wider cap!

Didn’t show the bottom? You over filled on the fill pass. You should always leave both sides of the bevel. Makes for a nicer cap.

I have taken this test 3 times and every time I take it it’s all ways something different, first it was porosity, second time the the fill was fill pass didn’t penetrate, third time it penetrated but it didn’t penetrate, so what should I do be cause I really want to join the union

Not to go of rods ..Texas is starting to us them more . Porosity in starts and stops u have to grind ever start and stop they do run smooth and feel good

I been doing this for a test but just feed it like carbon it welds the same and if I disconnect it would just be like dipping

I can't really see the puddle when you're welding so, thanks for the advice, but I guess I'll wait until you get a better video lens before I watch more
