Hi Laura, wow, that looks amazing, what a superb idea! I do the same with the scissors to remove the excess pulled fibres, but that is an extra bonus with using a razor to remove any unwanted straggling fluff 😮. I’m going to try this because your sofa looks immaculate! I purchased those clear stick on furniture protectors from Temu, but they just peeled off from the edges, they weren’t sticky enough to bond to the fabric unfortunately. Definitely giving this a try & so thankful 🙌🏽 I came across your video! Thank you for sharing! ❤

Painting is NOT faster if you do it right. You have to roughsand, prime, softsand, and then paint two or three coats. It takes..... forever. And the cleanup is constant for all the brushes and whatnot. You WILL get at least a hair or two and have to fix that, and drips. It's a LOT of work, and if you do it all af once you need at LEAST a bedroom worth of space.

Wish l had a friend like you live in the West Midlands and hopefully get you to help me moving from a flat to house with a front and back garden

It looks like you have the hinges that can adjust the pitch of your doors. The doors that are rubbing don't look as if the gap is the same on the bottom edge. You don't have to take the hinge off see if you can or have the hinges that allow adjusting that way you can increase the gap on the doors that are rubbing.
