Always look looking at coin roll hunts. 1970 is definitely the find of the hunt.

I'm not sure but you showed these in an earlier video compilation but always good to see that Canadian Bank Notes being coloured are not weird or like monopoly money like the Americans typically say.

Interesting to watch your bank note search. I had $6,500 in $100 bills recently and thought I should do a strap search but didn't have a clue to what I would be looking for. Besides I couldn't afford to keep any of them as they were assigned to paying off my Taxes and the balance of my car loan.

Beautiful collection. Too bad the penny will have to be relegated elsewhere. Have you considered obtaining a box with seven coin slots?

Exciting hunt. Thanks for sharing. Quarters are my favaorite denomination, because even when there is no silver, there can be lots of color. The big 2015 color poppy is a real gem, and sells quite well, almost in the same price range as a silver quarter! The flag is very beautiful too, but seems more common. I nearly have 2 full rolls of colorized flags (found in almost 2 years of CRH) and I notice some examples have the white portion full white, while some examples have a bit of darker grayish spots showing shadow spots while the flag is moving in the wind. Is that 2 variants of the color issue? Also, the Large Bust was present until 1972 on the quarters, but also resumed from 1974 through 1978. The similar small bust used on the 1973 Mounties was reused only from 1979. The reason why they did that has always been a mystery for me, even though I collect coins since , ... 1979. No silver in my last quarter boxful either, but I did find 5 silver dimes in about 3 boxes or so... Quarters are harder, but let's hope to always find at lease one silver from time to time...

Since not all rolls are marked I suspect that they are just reused rolls...otherwise you had some nice finds.

My dad has a roll of the 1st coloured poppy quarter...he also told me that there was a story going around that they had tracking devices in them LOL.

It's great that you can get full boxes of coins to hunt, I often get the tellers stalling by saying the head teller is busy so I have to wait to see if they have any full boxes, while offering a bundle or 2 from their cash drawer.

Your enthusiasm for collecting coins is very clear. Congrats on some great finds.

Finding commemmorative coins in circulation is a nice way to build a collection. I always encourage my family members to always check their change and I notice that they update me when they find something.

Thanks for posting this search. I am one of those hunters who does mark rolls that I have searched, but it does not mean there are not any coins to be found, they are just not what I look for.

I also enjoy searching rolls of quarters, I used to prefer that rolls are marked if they have been hunted, but you never know. I'm glad to see that coloured ones are out there.

Great hunt and some very nice finds.

In our family hunts American quarters are welcome, but silver is always better. I also like the flag and large poppy coloured versions.

Quarter and dime hunts are our only hope for finding silver, maybe next time.

I did 2 hunts in the last couple of weeks and had 10 rolls shorted with nickles in place of quarters...nice finds.

Wow, a grand canyon. I cant even find that one in the US. All the 2010 through 2012 quarters are about 30 million minted per design amd mint, so they arent too common relative to other designs where some were over 500 million per design and mint. Edit: 2009 coins are pretty scarce too. To me that grand canyon is your top find.
