Many jewels were shared. Everyone is in such a rush to be something and somebody which disrupts the natural order of things. Taking time to marinate in our own development is paramount to letting our Ori guide us to the people, places and spaces that are for our highest good and prevents so many unnecessary mistakes/missteps. Adupe for another wonderful, healing episode 💗
@@YeyeOmi1 Adupe for your comment. Thank you very much for watching and engaging with us.

Thank you for watching and engaging with us Iya. Omi oo.
Proud you girls yall articulated very well.
Excited about the future with them leading it!
As a woman who have been in both spaces of African Tradition and Christianity. Seems it's the same issue. The concept relationship is what is missing. Maybe it's post COVID but we got lazy to connect
Yes, that is one of the things that I think is important to see. God is known by many names. No matter if we call God Olodumare, Allah, Buddha, Yeheshua. No matter if we see the prophet as Orunmila, Muhammad, Jesus or Halle Sallasie ...we are all connected. We ALL are looking for a deeper relationship with self, destiny and the higher power. We appreciate you watching and engaging @laruelmustafa8823. Thank you for your comment <3

HU!❤💙
You KNOW!
In my opinion to embrace, it is to know that your community loves you and that you wouldn’t be judged on a bad move and that your character is already enough to carry you.
Ase! And a "bad move" to who? Sometimes I make "mistakes" and realize that without that move, I would have never had the lesson that I needed to learn. Everything happens for a reason, even when we don't know it or if it hasn't been revealed to us yet. We have to trust ourselves, and our process. We have to trust Ifa and the Orisa and know that we are always in direct alignment when our focus in on balanced character.
It’s so hard being a diamond people can’t even understand the pressure.
It’s so hard being a diamond people can’t even understand the pressure.
True. People don't understand our individual walk or the work we had to put in to get to any particular point in our development. This is why we have to stay clear of our judgments of others and ourselves. We can be gentle and empathetic and know that each of us came here with our own divine assignment. We appreciate your comment and all of your engagement.
I am so super proud of these daughters. My prayer is that we would humble ourselves, listen to and help these young ones as they prepare to take the roles as leaders etc. May we not be too big to show some errors we may have made as we travelled the path to our destiny. Success and all blessings in every area to our daughters and may they always have good character
Ase ooo
Great conversation. It shows the importance of seeking and listening to the perspectives of our young people. They are great teachers. 💛🌿

I was this on a freaking T-shirt! its perfect!
This episode was absolutely beautiful and congrats to the new Iya's. I watched this video in increments during my morning communute over the week and I want to thank you all for these beautiful stories. I feel like I relate to you all in different ways. I've always thought it's important to honor your journey and witnessing you all talking about your experiences was very powerful and fueling for me. I feel very empowered. I wrote down the advice from 54:28 and that was a synconicity for me. Trust what you're feeling and allow that to guide you because the lessons you learn along the way are going to lead you to where you need to be. I've been resonating with that alot recently as I'm in my second semester of junior year at my university and I've been acknowledging how far I've come from childhood as I'm stepping into my 21st year soon. My self awareness is evolving and I recognize my growth in a new way. Thank you all so much! Looking forward to watching the newest episode!!!
Thank you so much for sharing @adifferentindividual! We really appreciate it! As you step into year 21 I hope that you continued to feel empowered on your journey and continue to build your awareness of self! This is so awesome that you are engaged in your self-healing and self-development! Big ups and Congratulations to you.
Thank you everyone for bringing it to our attention that the audio goes out at 24.50. We have been trying to fix it for the last few hours to no avail. There is something going wrong in the download process from the source file. We are working to fix it. We truly apologize for the inconvenience. ~ Iya Omisegun
This was absolutely touching! Thank you so much for these voices…. Absolutely needed.. voices of the elders….:)
Ase oo! Thank you @ifamassey479
Omg! When we get all healed up as, women! We will be something amazing ! WE CAN HEAL THE LAND ❤
Ase! "Where the women go...the culture follows."
Thank you Iya for this episode…the message has really blessed me ❤
Thank YOU for watching and engaging with us. We truly appreciate you.
Aboru Aboye Abosise everyone. This conversation was well needed. Here in Atlanta I have found it so hard to find my sister circle. Hence I just stay to myself and bottle up everything within me. This is an episode I will rewatch multiple times. Thank you for this space.
We are truly grateful that these topics resonate with you! Come on out of your shell. There are safe people around. Come join on March 29!

Thank you for your comment @sevenheaven130. We have to work on changing that. In practicing this tradition...we need each other. It is personal, and still not meant for isolation.
Aboru Aboye abosise Iyanifa! The audio goes out at about 24:50 and it doesn’t return until the 30 minute mark. Otherwise another great episode.
Thank you for letting us know. We will repost the episode to fix the issue. Thank you so much.
Aboru Aboye Abosise Iya, a big portion went by with out Audio.
Ogbo Ato. Thank you so much for letting us know. We have been attempting to fix it. I am hoping to re-upload a new file or attach the missing audio once I figure out the issue.
Beautiful ladies born into the tradition that’s awesome. Iya you had me on the floor when you said where I come from the Obeah woman is real. When I started practicing that’s the first thing my brother said “so you going start working obeah, you a witch now”? 🇻🇮🇻🇮ppl for you lmao.
LOL. It is a concern for Caribbean people for sure. That is also because we have associated the word Obeah with evil and wickedness. We definitely have to do some re-framing and education around the word itself. Thank you for your comment.
Iya! Thank you for asking that question about receiving the Iyanifa title. This is something I kept saying not everyone that is initiated is a Baba or Iya. Not everyone is to be of service. May Ifa continue to bless you with long life.
Ase ooo. Adupe pupo. We all have a destiny. And not everyone's destiny is to serve the community, and that is just fine. It is important that we all get clarity on our path. Thank you for your comment.
Congratulations to the new Iya’s. May Ifa continue to guide, protect, and open doors for you.
Ase ooo

43:51 is very spot on People dont always learn how to express admiration in a healthy way
True. I pray that our healthy sisterhoods can showcase that behavior. Thank you for engaging with us! We appreciate your comments.
