@@samkang20 absolutely not, i’d say it’s as loud as a stock m340i now, maybe just a touch louder. There’s no way a cop would pull you over for it

How is it so far? I'm looking into getting my first BMW after decades of Toyotas. Has the timing chain/tensioner problem been fixed? What do you dislike about the car? What costs you an arm and a leg?
@@Mr-Clark I absolutely love the car, there are a few things that I wish were different which I highlighted in my “3 Things I dislike” video you can find on my channel. Other than that there has been absolutely 0 issues and I have almos 50,000kms on the car so far.
@@thenew330i Saw it. One thing, does it have start stop? Engine cuts off when you're at a red light. I hate that. If so, can you disable it. Permanently?
@@Mr-Clark Yes it does have start/stop but theres a way to easily disable it if you keep it in sport individual. Full explanation in my “3 Series Tips & Tricks” video!
Hey so I have an asian spec g20, so no big opf's like you guys have. Do you think by cutting 2 resonators paired with a catless downpipe will sound okay and noticable from the outside?
@@belvailbamm5067 it might sound a bit raspy. I’d do the down-pipe and one resonator.
Would my x3 30i get a simaler noise even tho the exhaust tips are different??

@@backtoshallabal6662 it’s perfectly fine! Infact, it’s a good thing so long as you have safe washing techniques so you don’t introduce swirls!
would our cars be basiclaly the same if i had a 2022 330i but non m sport one? ik they have different body kits but would the sound be different?
@@nellyle3105 if your car has the muffler valves that open when you’re in sport mode then yes they should sound exactly the same

@@nellyle3105 zero issues, no check engine lights. Just do it and go!
I got one yesterday and within 5 minutes of leaving the dealership my wife got a ticket. Clocked her at 85 in 60. Definitely can get lost in speed at how slow it feels inside

Hey boss love the videos! I was wondering if you knew how to turn off auto dimming in the 2023 or 2024 330i? I have the 2024 and I wanted to get my windows tinted but I don’t want the auto dimming on my rear view or side mirrors. Appreciate the help!

Hey brotha been wanting to black out my badges and front fender reflectors too, think it would be perfect with my dravit grey paint lol. Did you get the badges from amazon and then just use tint film for the reflectors? Awesome spec man keep the vids comin!!
@@jgagliardi9193 oh man I love Dravit Grey, great choice. And I had a local shop source me the badges and I replaced them myself and I had a tint shop wrap my reflectors for me for like $70 I think lol

Greetings! I know this is a lil over one year late lmao but i just wanna tell you about how you pointed at the wrong part (it's actually one of the muffler clampers) when you're referring to the valve control unit. The actual place where the plug should be approximately on 0:40 on upper side, you could see the opening in where the plug would usually be in. Hopefully this would clear any confusion for other 3 series owners! Beautiful spec btw! I have a blacked out 2023 aussie version myself and am currently planning to do some considerable mods in it too!

Hey. I know you don't have a 320i but I'll ask anyways. Does sport mode in a 320i make the exhaust sound any different? I hear a lot of the older models (pre-LCI) make pops and burbles in sport mode but I wanna know if it carried on to the the LCI version. Have a 24' 320i but haven't broken in the engine yet so am pretty scared of revving it at high rpms.
@@anjaymemi8urytyt the easiest way to check is to cold start your car, switch it into sport mode, then stand at the back of your car and listen to see if you can hear your muffler exhaust flap open up once the car warms up. (Usually takes around 1-2 minutes)

@@fhqicy7403 it’s just a connector (sort of like a buckle) squeeze both sides and just slide it out after the car warms up and the exhaust valves open

Launch control recipe: Sport Mode + Traction to MDM + Gearbox in Sport. Press the brake hard, accelerate - Launch Control Activated and go
Don't bother even listening to anyone who chose Dravit grey. Brooklyn grey all the way. You chose the best color. Dravit grey is really dull. .
I just love how dynamic Dravit Grey looks in the sun, golds and even some greens show through the metallic paint!

@@yari7604 considering I’ve driven lowered cars for 6 years previous to buying this, it drives like a dream compared to them; but I can agree it’s definitely a stiffer ride than the Audi or Mercedes

@@madmax1631 yes it fits the 2024 model but i’m not sure how to find a USA link for it. It’s called the AEM Cold Air Intake for BMW G20 series (2019-2024)

What a terrible advice, not having two sets of tires for two seasons despite obvious differences in performance and then bitc$$ing because one tire got wasted and you can’t pay a proper new tire … this is a worthless video

I love the stop start - why waste gas at traffic lights - I still have my 2014 328 x drive ( 261,000 Km ) she behaves like a Toyota Corolla in terms of reliability - I used to be a BMW HATER. - I also have a 2021 Z4 with the B 58 engine - 14,000 km - that car is an attention getter - but I have so much love for my older 2014 3 series. Most probably will upgrade to a new 3 series - but it seems if you do the maintenance on these cars - they can behave like a Toyota in terms of reliability.
Yes, I heard the reliability on these cars have greatly improved over the years! You have a great lot of cars, especially the Z4 with the B58!
@@thenew330i thank you - the 3 series is really a special car - over the years - I have so much respect for that platform. The only other car outside of BMW that I believe is one of the most beautiful cars ever penned by a designer is the 2006 Lexus IS - it’s now gone through 2 redesigns - and I still own a 2009 - it truly was a good looking car and still is.

Yes, I unplugged the Valve Connection so the muffler valve always stays open!
Did you get rid of secondary cat or just resonator. Under my car there seems to be two a large box (secondary cat) and like a thicker piece of pipe.
Just the resonator and OPF filter (as I was told it's just one unit)
