I´m using firmware cec_0.3VB and it looks very nice. FM radio function is so much nicer than the original FM function. I tried pressing '*scan' key + side button 1 or side button 2, to discover fm frequencies but it did not work. One thing I would like it to change is the VFO Display fonts, when A band is selected the font should be bold, and vice versa for the B band. Look the VFO Display in F4HWN 3.1 firmware for inspiration. But don´t change the size in the first line in cec_0.3VB, it is the right size.

under t.aprs it does not have a frequency I don't see a way to enter it?

I uploaded the software to the radio. I set APRS. It works, but the digipiter does not transmit to the network. I don't have C-Board installed yet. Great job Ian! I'm waiting for the next versions.

Hi! Mine has just received APRS with some fails while trying to enter some menus/functions, ft8 don't work at all but I made this mod (like described in your blog with 3r resistor) and it works perfectly now. Thanks for sharing!! 73's

How do you go to am and fm in regular mode not hf

I patched and installed the 0.5 (No previous versions tried yet). When I long-press '0' I get "Wait" and then it gets stuck there, with no option other than turning it off and on again. Can't get below 18MHz.

There is a radio, the LANCHONLH HG-UV98 Dual-Band UHF VHF APRS Walkie talkie Positioning Track GPS Beidou GLONASS Walkie Talkie Radio which does APRS and has a unique access to the TNC like a kenwood. Check it out . There are videos where they show themselves accessing , some via the bluetooth. N6GRG via qrz if you would like. They show themselves using what I think is aprsdroid ? With tablets ?

Hi! Again is an awesome work, I've tried this firmware (thanks for sharing) and APRS decode works perfectly, but I have some questions with ft8 mode, this just work on 10m frequency? Am working with the base circuit in C-Board, FT8 still in DSP init screen, I need to add the gps for time sync? Or you think that is a building issue? Thanks again and regards from Mexico!
