I bought an AR-15A3 LEO trade in from AIM Surplus about 2 months ago. It came with that same barrel. What a difference in weight compared to a skinny. pencil barrel.

TA11-SDO (SU-258/PVQ) is by far my favorite fixed mag optic of all time, so seamless to use on the M27 IAR and doesn’t strain the eye as much as the RCO

I've had one of those mounts in the commercial packaging for about 15 years I think? Still plan to get an ACOG to go with it! Lol!

@Chris-fj9ir you cannot use a normal BCG with the SCW stock kit.
Why do the have them and the 6920 don’t?

Any other .308 bolts work with this?
I remember seeing a 222 Remington chambered AR15 at a gun show about 25 years ago. The dealer said that it was made for the European market. I considered buying it but talked myself out of it because I'd have to reload the ammunition and wouldn't be able to shoot it much. I shouldn't have been so logical.
Running short on 9mm castings apparently.

I had a favor to ask, do you think you could measure the total length of the barrel extension? Or give an approximation even if the number isn’t completely accurate? I’m considering machining my own for a rebarrel project for my Colt M5 because there’s no other way to source them at present. I’m trying to see if it’s the same length as the standard M4 extension. Any help would be greatly appreciated
And one more dimension I would like to request is the length from the rear of the extension to the rear shoulder of the barrel extension. Thank you!

@rudycastro9341 that is unfortunate but not surprising. Ruger's have some dimensional differences compared to Colt.
That is not an LE Colt. The Serial No. on the rifle starts with CR which stands for Civilian Rifle. I would prefer a gun with a LE Serial No.
@johnjuarez8005 the product model is "LE6920SOCOM" and is not affiliated with the product serial number. When Colt converted their regular "LE" product line to "CR", which is Colt Rifle and not "Civilian Rifle" it did not rebrand the LE6920SOCOM and a few others. The LE6920SOCOM is part of Colts "Military Classics" product line and is not affiliated with the Colt CR product line (common Carbine marked lower receiver) which consists of the CR6920, CR6920MPS-B, CR6920-EPR, CR6940, CR6960 to name a few. Some other product models that did not get rebranded under the CR product line is the LE6920-R "Trooper", OEM-1 and OEM-2. Thanks for stopping by.

The Rectangle on the bottom of the Colt Loader is designed to be your un-loader vs how you used your thumb Then Best loader for these mags are the Swedish 36 Round Strippers for Gustav and the Cammenga EZ loader that holds 16 rounds
Is the barrel chrome lined, cold hammer forged?
@@danav3387 Colt's barrels are all button-rifled and chrome-lined unless otherwise specified. Colt U.S. does not cold hammer forge any of its barrels.
