Shed To House: Did We FINALLY Do It!?
We've been away for a while, what have we been up to. We've been debating weather its worth getting a shed to house conversion or build our own cabin. After building our bathhouse, we realized how much work it really is. But did we go through with it?

    • @MiguelNMichellesRanch
      @MiguelNMichellesRanch 13 часов назад

      Thank you so much! They charged us $800 dollars to do the driveway and the spot for the cabin. Not only did they clear it but they leveled it too. But the price depends on the size of the clearing, driveway width and length, as well as distance from the city. All in we believe it was well worth the money.

      Approximately $2,500 to $3,000. Well worth it compared to the 20K it could have cost us to have it done professionally.

    Love seeing couples work together ❤ Excellent looking fence! Thank you for listing all your products! I’ve been needing a tool belt and driver! I do have a question. Where did you get your trailer with solar? Or did you build it? I need one for AZ for when I build my fence on my land too.

    Land in the middle of nowhere you say, and yet you have to fence it in to protect it from what? I would think there would be more important things to do such as maybe drill well or a foundation of some kind or building a shed or garage, etc. I hope you’re paying in the Social Security so you have some kind of income in 20 some years.

    • @MiguelNMichellesRanch
      @MiguelNMichellesRanch 6 дней назад

      We're got better than social security. The fence is just a deterent for when we are building the cabin. People who aren't necessarily living up here will snoop and steal and anything they can't steal, set on fire for no reason. Yes we could have started somewhere else but we felt that by talking to people around here, this was the priority.

    No water was the first mistake. There are places in Aridzona with plenty of water. One day we will see videos of this off grid homesteading done right. #1 is is always going to be a water source, of at least five gallons a minute. I hope they can drill a well there.. I would have done it first,

    My bit of Canada developed because of fishing in the days of schooners under sail. They were dependent on the wind. Have you found a wind free part of the desert in Arizona? Your bathhouse will look even more like an old schooner when you add the topsails…I mean the roof!

    Beautiful piece of property. I live in Santa Cruz county in the mountains on 6 acres. Built a home in 2022 with a well. Love it here. What county are you guys in ??? My husband 60 years old, did the fence himself with little help from me. It’s hard work but really rewarding just with the money saved not hiring someone else to do it 👍🏻
